VT arch came off going through the surface water, it flung up hit my 2 pas windows. I didnt relise what it was untill i got out and checked the car. I got it back but it was scratched to bits. :( i've got a replacement in good condition in my EZRC colour code (lucky) but it needs new clips and a bulb. :y: so when im off next week it will get machined polished, wax'd etc then refitted.

How it will look all weekend as i've got work all weekend so too busy to sort it. It's a good excuse to clean behind there ^_^

Replacement machined etc and awaiting clips..

Question... What machine polisher you got?

:y:

Also my windscreen has a nice crack in it! luckily not my side but a crack. I'll leave it aslong as i can. It goes right under the scuttle looking at it so a stone (not heard one) has give it a good pelt or some tosser has thrown something at it. Just what i need..

das is expensive... and that sounds like loads of fun... shitter when you get a crack or a chip in your windscreen, pound signs just keep rolling...

Sorted the vt arch, all new clips both sides. Arch has been done with the da etc. All clean..

Before pas

After pas

before driver

After

And a well earned wash.

Cheers.

May be a daft question, but how do you get the arches off properly? I tried before and snapped the clips in doing so.

Prickle 3rd December 2013 01:05

The clips will snap but they're cheap from Citroen.

It clips in the front bumper slightly, under the indicator is a metal clip and the underside has a torx bit in.

When putting it back on put the front that clips into the bumper first then work your way along.

Simonn 3rd December 2013 02:40

Cleaning behind the arches makes quite a difference too! Easily done.

Prickle 3rd December 2013 02:58

I thought i may aswell whilst they were off. I kinda want to do the rest but i'll wait till it warms up lol :p

Simonn 3rd December 2013 04:15

That's what I'm thinking! Mine could use a bit of tlc to be honest.

Prickle 8th February 2014 20:41

Since the last update it had a new windscreen, new cambelt etc fitted by greyjasper on here (lewis). and a full service. also had the dents pulled out the boot and 2 wings and genuine top mounts to replace the cack SKF ones that lasted not even a year. The inner wings believe it or not have taking a battering somehow and its booked in this month for both sides to be repainted fromt turret to the bottom.

most recent pic from yesterday

new plates on oder too. finally.

cheers.
