the batteries are heavy fuckers will throw some on the scale now and see what it says . . . 26KG give or take a few as these scales are shite! but as im going to weigh a mates car at the tip, ill take one along and see if its any different!
ive got 4 on charge, will be on tonight and ill whack a battery tester on them in work or something!

skim reading, and saw hydrolics ? 70mm springs not low enough?! lol ...

no need to bid shes like a fair ride meny can ride at once haha oj steph lol

thats pretty light my yellows are 46kg lets us no how thay float

yh the 70mm aint low enough been offerd some hydrolics :D

Tontsy 19th June 2009 19:38

some are abit fucked and some are ok,found a few that are around holding a steady 12.0-12.4
were some struggle to hit 10 lol but its trying to find the time to give them all a long enough charge to check lol...some are utterly fucked! note : they are smaller than the Yellows in size :y:

Hydrolics, sounds like an awesome plan mate! :y: deffo something to put to the top of the list, how much would the conversion cost ? or going to be easy enough to fit yourself?
wait for the 70's to settle though man, it took my 50 a week to have a decent effect!

12 is a little on the low side but means atleast all cells are work 12.4 is good tho :y: the ones that are 10 will be a cell down so wont ever charge up, how long did you test them after taking them off charge? whats the size of them?

the kit will cost me £800 and fitting i can do with my friend only thing i will need is to have some lines made up.

the clay bar and paint renovator are to of the best cleaning products ive ever bought cant beleave how smooth the body work is after the clay bar and the paint renovator has removed alot of scratches and brought my wheels up brand new

Thats mad mate, where are the extra 2 subs going?

Im guess the comps are bound for the doorcards/dash?

Where the screens going?

It gunna get abit cramped in your car lol unless your redesigning your wall?

Keep us updated with pics of how its all going and good luck sorting the steering lock out.

im going to be doing a tunnel like this but without the mids and tweeters

i will be mounting 2 pairs of comps in the boot lid witch will be on a switch so i can turn them on for shows and have them off for daily drive and the 19" screen will be going on the boot lid between the comps

then im going to put 4,8 or 12 pairs of comps in the doors havnt planed that far ahead yet lol then 7ince touch screen in the glove box lid for carputer

every thing is being built to not take up any more room than i am at the moment will i try not to

You just wire one sub to one set of terminals and the other sub to the other ones and that will work as well as poss!

you'll be running 1112watts rms into both of the subs so 556watts each and they are rated to handle 400watts but over powering will be fine! (dont power it up with the gain on full though) work your way up slowly after turning the headunit upto approx 2/3 or 3/4 volume)

You will prob need to upgrade your alternator cables etc too tbh as those amps draw alot of currrent. If you get stuck give me a call or just come over

Oh and sorry for the thread Hi-jack Liam!

The tunnel idea sounds like a good one!
