Looks fantastic!!

CHIP 20th March 2010 22:58

A small update i suppose...

LeeumH was kind enough to sell me a standard VTR cam the other day. Going to send this off for reprofiling soon hopefully.
Also ordered the final silicone hoses i need for the engine bay :y:

Had a tyre fitted to one of my Wolfrace this week, so as soon as better weather comes i can fit them on :)

Annnd if anyone has an upper OMP strut brace for sale, PM me :y:

Hoping that my engine bay will be looking awesome soon incase i decide to put it on the stand at FCS. Defo going, just unsure if i will show my car.

Plenty to do before then though..

The List:
Spray rear towing eye
Clean engine bay up
Repaint head
Fit final silicone hoses
Paint the inside of the back
Repaint caliper's
Mesh fog space
Put Wolfrace back on (waiting for better weather)
A mahooooooooosive detailing

Ah nice one dude. I shall await it then :y:

Kent want, i think it was £120 plus vat.

Newman wanted a little less.

I've got it written down somewhere but can't seem to find it atm lol. Will let you know though :y:

Liam_ 20th March 2010 23:35

Plans sound good mate. Hope the camming goes well. :D

CHIP 20th March 2010 23:38

Cheers dude. It's all coming together, slowly lol. I won't have much money for too much longer as it's getting toward's Ducati weather lol. So i need to try and cram this lot in quick haha.

car looks mint mate.

rushy_23 25th March 2010 06:50

Looking as great as ever dude. :)

AlexB 25th March 2010 08:58

Deffo put it on stand dude
Not every car there is all mint and shiny so it will probably stand out quite well being mint

Jamie 25th March 2010 11:35

Cold air feeeeeed!

Looks nice mate

CHIP 25th March 2010 12:50

Cheers for the compliment's folks. And yea, Jamie, i do need to sort a cold air feed out! My next plan is the rear axle. I wanted to sort the cam out but the axle is so noisy i want to get it sorted!

As for the stand, i'll stick it on IF i manage to paint the back and machine polish it for swirls :)

Mcinabout 25th March 2010 15:30

I agree with Alex, it should deffo be on the stand, its mint:y: Nice little update too dude:)

Thought i'd update with a nice moody picture - and also tell you that i've bought a blue Rallye carpet.

Awaiting it's arrival and hopefully can get it fitted soon... Also fitted new arch lining's today :)

CHIP 5th April 2010 22:32

Okay, one with the Duc :)

Then, today i decided to repaint my caliper's dark blue and fit the Wolfrace wheels :)
Sorry for shit picture's, car's dirty and i messed up camera settings.

CHIP 8th April 2010 22:43

Got some better photo's of the Sax tonight with it on the Wolfrace... Proper update's to come soon!

taitypot106 8th April 2010 22:48

love this car, perfect in my eyes

ashwilson 8th April 2010 22:50

Lovly car and lovly engine bay.

Good job mate, You so need to do them hoses for the mk2 90bhp version! Im gagging for some :(

CHIP 8th April 2010 22:51

Cheers pal... It's a long way off perfect, probably never will be... But i'm very happy with it.

Hoping my blue Rallye carpet is going to turn up tomorrow and i've got my eye on some suspension. But it's having a refurbished axle in the next couple of weeks and i've also got to buy some tyre's for the Ducati (which i just bought some Carbon for :P)

My main problem is getting hold of an engine to make a set up on pal.

But i'm trying my hardest to get on the case :)
