good work mate, looks well, i like those wheels, especially in the gunmetal! the stickers on the inside of the boot look pretty smart, glad you decided to take them off the sub, i wasnt too keen on that to be honest but its your car, do it to your taste.

keep it up mate.:y:

Well dads taken the saxo to the garage at his work. To fit this. . .

;)

benJee_VTR 28th April 2011 11:48

Looks nice mate, plans sound good. Lowering will set the wheels off a treat.

Yeh lowerings next on the list. Thinking 50/60. But its finding someone local who can do torsion. Wanna sort some smoked jewels out aswell and spray the inserts on front lights but can see me making a shambles of it.

Claki 28th April 2011 11:54

Not too bad at all mate, if it was you id get those headlights in the oven an paint them up asap! or just stickerbomb the inserts? :y:

Haha never thought about stickerbombing inserts. It been done before? Could be risky. Spraying the inserts is on the list though.

Claki 28th April 2011 12:04

Nah ive never seen it done, just a random idea i just had lol, you gotta do it now, no ones done it on a saxo on here ;)

May have to open photoshop and trial the idea.
Jus heard from my dad exhaust is on and the old one was pretty knackered nearly falling off.

nelson-swfc 28th April 2011 21:19

Look's good dude but i would upgrade the mounts to bring the exhaust up a little as it hang's a little low, if this doesn't work then twist the centre pipe a little and you will notice it move down/up, just get it sitting flush in the recess, other than that.. keep up the great work your doing :y:.

Richard..

nelson-swfc 29th April 2011 09:34

Cheers bud. Yeh im gonna get some shorter mounts for it. But its not too urgent at the moment. MOT coming soon got a bit on the bay that needs welding so it'll be sorting stuff out for that before owt else

nelson-swfc 7th May 2011 18:50

Next on the cards will be lowering, so due to boredem I previewed it on photoshop.
Thinkin 40mm front and back.

Jam3s 7th May 2011 20:15

If your going 40mm mate it wont be that low on the back. What you did on photoshop would be a 50mm drop. I dropped my furio 40mm and you could still fit your hand under it no problem.

nelson-swfc 7th May 2011 20:24

Any images of yours lowered 40mm?
I was originally thinkin 50mm but told not to go lower than 40.
Spose a extra 10mm wont hurt.

jimjam 8th May 2011 10:37

I used to have a sportex exhaust. With a center silncer, de cat and 4-2-1 manifold. I loved that sound!!
