Jeez how did you manage to fit 7 inch wide wheels under the rear flatarch? Did you have to do any arch work? If so what did you do if you dont mind me asking? Just my vtr alloys only just fit under lol

oh really well my vtr alloys were fine i just bent the lip up for those and my car was down 70mm with no scrubbage but these wheels were a bitch lol had to hammer and cut the archs a bit to fit these on looks a bit of a mes at the mo but it will do for the mo u lowered at all ???

Sandy869 13th December 2011 23:49

Im not lowered yet but was looking at some alleycats or starmags ya see but was worried they wouldnt fit being 7 inches wide but as proved by your car it obviously can. I should be going lower in the new year too. Think yours looks amazing mate!

i got some of the cheap coilovers but not low enough at the mo

as for the shocks krisb said as i have them b4 is them he best to have out of all the bilsteins or he said apex shocks also how hard is it to put a 106 recess in ????

and the wheels are 7j 13s

cheers for all the comments guys ill try to keep u all up to date a bit more often if i can from now on =) also ill get some more pics when its all cleaned up

KrisB said that B4 shocks are the best out of all the bilsteins?? and yea i bought apex shocks as they are shorter and made for lowered springs.

to fit a 106 recess obviously you would need to hack up a 106 rear bumper and cut it out and then rivet/smooth it in to your bumper, a professional job would be needed but would make the back end look much more oem as you'll have an actual plate recess and you could wire up the 106 number plate lights and with the tow eye smoothed would make it look awesome

I was thinking about 70mm ish? Which should be enough to pull the 13 inch alloys off hopefully? Whats yours lowered by? It cost much to get the centre bores redrilled to citroen bore size on the alloys? Many more plans in the pipeline?

its hard to get it mega low on a flat arch cos it dosent have the sideskirts so to get that low i would need to get hydros or air bags but i will get it as low as i can possibly get it on coilovers :)
