BMK 9th March 2006 15:49

Had a go at the bumper last night....
The holes are completely filled now but have a lot of sanding to go get it 100% smooth....
It wil go to the painter on monday....

mattwesty 9th March 2006 16:10

I'm thinking about that but i'm not sure about the rear yet....

hesslevtr 10th March 2006 04:29

very nice mate

are you still painting your wheels

Jimbo 10th March 2006 04:59

That has just made an amazing car even better!

CHRIS84T 10th March 2006 12:55

Really like it. Car is outstanding to be honest. The new bumper will be amazing when done. I wouldn't get the rear done, just remove the tow ring. My opinion tho.

keep up the good work and get them pic's up asap.

Sidesport 10th March 2006 14:41

Witch old wheels??? U mean the vts wheels???
Swapped them against some steelies with tyres for in the winter...

BMK 14th March 2006 19:21

The bumper is at the paintshop at the moment....

Here are some more pics...
Fitted it on the car and i think it looks nice and subtle...

Only the sides fit horrible...

especialy this side...

So i got a little pissed and cut the sides off and did them over myself after i glued it

then sanded it till it was smoooooth....
And i filled the line between the bumpers...
So finaly it looked like this...

Can't wait to get it back and see how it looks....

adamsax 14th March 2006 21:05

mattwesty 22nd March 2006 17:34

i hink the front with look much better once the rear one is fitted to match ;)

BMK 9th June 2006 17:10

Long time no seen so time fot a small update...

Some cheesy bastards broke into my sax and killed the lock with a screwdriver...
There was nothing in the car so they didn't take anything...

the damage:

Luckely the insurance paid up a nice ammount so i could get it fixed..
But why would I replace the lock?? It wil look better without it.. And so it was done..
For just 125,- euro more then the ammount I got from the insurance I got the doors de-locked..

And here a little shoot in a puddle of water...

Also did a little sprint with the sax on a car event..
Was my first time I did it and I did a bad shift from second to third, so it dropped out of his gear...
I did 11,12 sec on a 200 meter sprint, could of been a lot faster if i didn't make that wrong shift..
But still i was faster then a VW Golf GTi and a Opel (Vauxhaul) Astra GSi...

Here are some pics... in the last one i'm angry about the bad shift and hit the steering wheel...

I'm having troubles with the cluch / clutch release bearing righ't now...
I'm thinking off getting myself a National sport clutch kit build in...

riggsy 9th June 2006 17:13
