Very nice looking seats Josh.

Hopefully when I get a good job again I will be building a track car.

Rush - Damn right, ill be back in 2 and a half months or so... :D

turbotom 10th May 2009 23:00

looking top quality mate. cant believe so much progress can be done from half way round the world lol

Xsi16v_Jk 11th May 2009 18:10

Nice josh, is it me or is your steering wheel chopped lol?

jpsaxo 2nd June 2009 15:02

Nah it just looks like that because of my steering wheel lock!

Tom - it is pretty crazy when you think about it like that... None of it could be done without a few very good, willing-to-help-out lads in the Midlands + My Bro and Dad for running around all over the country collecting stuff, dropping things off, picking things up etc etc for me!

More pics...

Got some "Proper" springs for my damper / Coilover set up, 250lb Faulkner ones :D

New brakes have also arrived..

My Sidemounts also arrived from my mate (Mentioning no names, who again has helped me out loads!)

Bolt in Subframes are currently being made up as a temp before i weld in some bars whenever a cage goes in as well! Should look something like this..

Again thanks to Sam for sending the pics over... Hope you like!

FinchysSaxo 2nd June 2009 15:06

Josh how much the subframes costing you? I really need a drivers one.

Most of the bits and bobs will be done by dad and sam over the next few weeks before im back! Now theyve finally got everything together, i just need to have my dampers threaded slightly more (were already extended but not by enough) and then i think everything can be fitted, so ill just be left with a few bits and bobs and ill start tidying up the chassis / prep for the nurburgring :)

The subframes were 90quid for the pair mate from Matt Newton.

leeroybrown 3rd June 2009 10:36

Josh baby, is one going to be at FCS~?

AlexB 3rd June 2009 10:41

rushy_23 4th June 2009 06:59

m1155's! I like it, I like it a lot.

They should be nice matched up with some larger Torsion bars and the proper group n tarmac rear dampers on the rear ;)

Leeroy - Nah im not back untill August 1st so doubt it will make it to any shows this summer, hopefully ill fit in a track day before the ring tho :D

So true Rush - but i think you wouldnt be far off to say the new stuff is more than good enough to not be upgraded in the future! (My bank account hopes so anyway!)

piggy123 7th June 2009 15:36

Comments / opinions on the AST coilovers and m1155's?

jpsaxo 4th August 2009 14:56

Cheers for all the comments lads!

Toad - ASTs rock mate, they feel really good, bloody hard for road work tho Lol. The 1155's are awesome as well, no real issues with needing to warm them up before they start working either which im suprised at!

Yesterday i got it insured & Taxed

Then went and collected my second seat, modified the sidemount so i can have it on the lowest setting (still need to do the drivers side)

also got the R888 fitted to the spare 1.2...

More updates to come....

unreal106 4th August 2009 15:04

nice progress josh. How is it now you have a danny clayton map:P

love the car as always and cant wait to see it at the ring, any chance of a passenger ride?

Era 4th August 2009 15:12

just bought a load of bits for mine to get it back on the road this year! will need you / your dad to do something on it early next year probs too...

any track days planned?

Toad 4th August 2009 15:16

Excellent mate.

For the m1155's to kick in proper, they do need to be hot, but they are very useable on the road IMO. I don't have any issues with them TBH.
