i am liking them seats tbh. i got the blue and black ones atm. and dont want any colours part form black or white in mine.

havent booked test yet my instuctors on holiday so not rele been out much. pissin me off really. but my dads been working from home all week, so ive been out in my beast.

no real updates either. i nearly finished a euro grill but then my dad cleaned the garage and threw it all by accident.

also my ped got reversed over by some twat in a landrover so that all needs to be sorted before i do anything else now.

Not rele mate. Few things I need to update but cba to at the moment.

I've smoked the headlights
made a custom euro grill
changed rear lights to smoked
lower 40 mm on front ( shocks and springs)
bee sting aerial and pipecross induction

Pics up next week

plans:

with the money I get for selling my bike I'm gonna get all the body work sorted out. Resprayed if needed. Glossblack bump strips and roof and wheels and then in the long run a full interior retrim

sammyd 3rd November 2009 22:33

would you make others and sell them? if so how much

Llardy 3rd November 2009 22:37

Wouldn't make more but if mine don't look how I want it to I'll sell it 2 ya

15gazza 3rd November 2009 23:20

VTomR 4th November 2009 21:42

Lewis 4th November 2009 21:57

Quite some skills you got. Id consider doing one myself but i valus boot space too much :P

Llardy 2nd December 2009 12:31

Big update

On the 23 rd November I passed my test. Then I bought some cyclones and then I bent the car into the back of a passat at 35. My front bumper went under the rear of the car and my bonnet tool the worst of it and is basically a write off. By the looks of it there was a wet streak on the road and I started slowing down but skidded and crashed. The passat has only got scratch on bumper.

Not goin to get another death trap so all my stuff is for sale so pm if your interested

Cutz 2nd December 2009 12:45

Feel for you man, another saxo gone. You got any pics?

Cutz

sammyd 2nd December 2009 18:46

Llardy 2nd December 2009 19:00

It's the blue and black one with all black door cards

sammyd 2nd December 2009 19:02

im after a set of rear seats for to retrim just mate are they the same as vtr seats bump headrests. not squared off

Sneakydevil89 2nd December 2009 22:10

sorry to hear about the crash. it was really starting to come along nicely

SaxoJay1409 2nd December 2009 22:26

gutted for u m8 i had a white saxo VTR was minted really loved it. i crashed that in the wet also . now i have west coast so i just used all the parts to make the west coast nice but i really like white saxo's . pretty rare even rarer now shame unlucky m8 :(

Llardy 7th December 2009 08:32

Change of plan. The cars repairable only panel damage but the build
and wheels are still for sale. Also have black
a and b pillars and sunvisors and also fibreglass tweeter pods
where the mirror adjusters are. Will also be selling
car once done.

Llardy 10th February 2010 23:59

Update:

Right decided to keep my beast afterall but heres some pics of the crash:

then heres some pics after i stripped it down at work:

this is when it starts getting repaired:

Chassis leg before repair:

Chassis leg after repair:

also before i crashed i payed £190 for a full set of cyclones with brand new tires all round and theyre in mint condition:

and then ive just been prepping the vt kit for a respray with gloss black bump strips

and also made a euro grill:

let me know what you think so far...

Chloeex 11th February 2010 00:30

Bad luck for the crash, but fair play to you for wanting to repair it all afterwards. The boot build looked immense, some nice work :)

bluenotesmiley 11th February 2010 01:06

White bumpers are very hard to find mate. Shouldn't be too hard to sort though mate, will be nice to see sorted. I would try a semi-gloss black on the bump strips though mate.

mezza18 12th February 2010 23:10

nice grill

phil_live 13th February 2010 00:24

Looking good dan just need it complete now lol

johnlambert 13th February 2010 00:53

love this car pal!!
the news about your crash sucks though!!!
glad your getting it sorted though!!

VTRelite 13th February 2010 01:08

Have you put a bit of plexiglass (sp?) over the hole in the floor of the build above the saxo logo?

mattperry 13th February 2010 08:33

looks nice till page 8! lovin the boot build!

leighwinter 13th February 2010 09:46

bit of t-cut mate and most of that will polish out :fcuk: really nice car though buddy glad your keeping it not that many white mk2 arround anymore how did you make that grill i neeeeeeed one :p

VJOFurio 16th February 2010 23:34

Good stuff, glad you're sorting it out after the crash rather than binning it like many. I did the same and spent over a grand repairing it and rebuilding it ourselves.

stormjojo1982 16th February 2010 23:50

repairs looking good, will be good a white saxo back on the road instead of scrapped.

Llardy 22nd February 2010 00:37

UPDATE

right paint prep pics:

Paint pics, cars only colour coded atm but the bump strips will be goin gloss black asap:

BUT as you all know by now with me the good news come with some considerably bad news...

while the bits were being painted i installed the new rad and filled it up, only to see all the fluid pissing out of the engine. so i jacked the car up and got underneath to find this:

not good, big crack in the block and a really pissed of me. but ive come this far and im not giving up now. so straight on the blower and managed to sort myself out a new engine (1.4 still) and it should be here by the weekend. so me, my mate and my dad will have the new one in in no time. and then its off to be raised and the cyclones are goin black and then goin on the car.

let me know what you think so far...

Tom5190 22nd February 2010 00:40

nightmare about the crack, hopefully then new engine will be decent. glad to see your sticking at it!
