No way mate - really sorry to see this, fucking nightmare :n:

And the fucking insurance, what cunts, makes you realise there really is no point having it as it's not worth the paper it's written on! :wall:

mrtomc2 25th May 2010 23:12

he is a engineering genius, im sure he will build somet amazing next, he has already got another c2 i think

rob_s 26th May 2010 01:44

fuckinghell mate i feel so sorry for you :(

i cant begin to imagine how you feel now

dav0506 26th May 2010 22:14

Gutted for you, looked an insane c2. Insurance companies are fucking twats.

C2V6 21st September 2010 21:00

As some of you already know after the brutal ending of the original v6 and v12 C2 in the garage fire iv set off building v12 again from scratch!!!

Iv already got the new c2 shell another cat c crash damaged 1.4 furio which I have managed to sell the interior and engine from.

The only part I managed to salvage from the original build was the rear half of the cage/engine cradle. This will save me 3 weeks fabrication work on building it.

So the story continues and I'll let the pictures do the talking.

As you can see its coming along nicely.
Its just about ready for the second motor to be dropped in now.

glad to see a mk2 is being created. What have you decided didnt work as well as it could and is now being upgraded, or is it really only doing to be different cosmetically?

Kev

C2V6 22nd September 2010 19:16

The engines are from 406 coupe 210bhp d8 engines:) very strong and reliable

The only real changes are to gear linkage and clutch hydraulics. All the wiring is now the c2 multiplex system where the old one was all 406 harness so I'm now managing to keep c2 clocks with everyting working!!! Main diferance is just cosmetics. This one won't be kitted up just subtle changes.

Just saw what happened now, I'm sure I recognise that car in the back, is it a 3 door Nova with loon arches?

He did say the shell was twisted in unit fire, I was gutted for him, it was a nice little project.
