The particles/flake in the paint mate, you can see it in the pic taken down the side of the car with just the door and wheel in shot

Ah yes I see what you mean! My car needs a proper machine polish tbh. Something to add to the to-do list! :y:

Update, bought some rear lights off of AJ-K's show car saxo that he has broken up. They are the clear jewel style with the bottom part tinted red. I've been told the red tinted section can fade over time, so I will probably re-tint them in the summer. Just ordered some chrome indicator bulbs to get rid of the orangey tinge in them too.
Getting my Gaz Coillies on in one week. Cant wait!
Anyway, heres some pictures, excuse the dirt.

Llardy 1st March 2012 16:43

looks good. for the sake of a few quid I'd take the rear lights to a body shop and get them to laquer the lights. saves you having to re tint them every few months

Bottom half is tinted red as on standard ones the middle square bit is white like the top. Looks much better tinted. :)

Cheers :) Thats not actually standard, I bought them flourescent green! I'm happy with them how they are for now. May go for white or anthracite sometime in the future, probably not for another year though. :)

Yeh I'm pretty much finished for exterior mods now, just maybe spraying a few bits like bumpstrips and mirrors but not certain yet.

JoshFurioBrookes 2nd March 2012 14:27

Clean shot of the rear:

Prickle 4th March 2012 02:13

Left side has red tint spray on the indicator...

Smart tho.

Cheers Grant I like them alot, thanks for taking them! :y:

Prickle, I know :/ I'll be retinting and lacquering them sometime soon, so i'll sort it out then :)

Simon, getting my Gaz coillies with custom springs on this thursday, roughly going 80-85 at the front and 70ish at the back. After that plans are really just general tidying up and spraying a few bits like bump strips, rocker cover etc.. :)

Cheers!

Simon0014 4th March 2012 10:59

Ahh you prick i'm very jealous of the coilies!!
Actually I do remember seeing a picture of them a week or so when I looked on here quickly! It will look awesome once they're on! Should be a perfect nose down stance then :y:

Yep I want that nose down look :D
Undecided on what height to go for with the rear, its 50mm now...I'm thinking 70mm :)

JoshFurioBrookes 4th March 2012 11:15

Some more photos from later in the night that I attempted to take with my crappy iPhone :)

This was cutting it rather close!

Simon0014 4th March 2012 11:25

Oh right i'd have said the rear looks a bit more than 50 lol. I'd fit the coilies and get them to the height you want then get the rear adjusted accordingly so you get it exactly how you want it.

Yeh it will probably be a case of seeing how low I can get the front without wishbone/driveshaft clearance issues. :)

JoshFurioBrookes 9th March 2012 00:02

Update - Got my Gaz Coillies on, no proper pictures yet as I still need to remove my front spacers and maybe arch liners so I can get them lower, couple of teaser photos below though.

Oh, and my mum works in a primary school and had loads of zebra faux suede left over from a wall display, so with some 12mm MDF I set to work making a little false floor for the boot to stop my sub and amp sliding about, and also tidy up the boot abit hiding the wires!

Rate and Slate! (I know the zebra print isnt everyones cup of tea, but I figured nobody ever sees in there much so why not do something abit lairy!)

5 inch springs woo!

Got abit close when jacking up the rear!

Llardy 9th March 2012 00:20

Lookin sexy mate, my springs are going on on the weekend
