Plan at Trax is to PC the few days leading up so shes mint then clean and leave her at the hotel and possibly just dry her off at the show so shes still tidy :y:

Alloys went in to the bodyshop to be refurbed last night, get them back thurs or fri and will post some initial pics up tonight of the progress so far

Loads of snaps will be uploaded and the photobucket getting a razzling while the progress continues

All lights being smoked next week and the calipers will also be painted to match the colour coding done on the car so far :P:p

Alloy Reeefurb Part 1

Here are the first few pictures and the start of a lot of work to come as my alloys are refurbed...

They started out life as a pair of Compomotive Sport "15 Alloys in silver
before they were curbed and banged around a bit before i bought the car
3 months ago :fcuk:...

Since then i have kept them in fairly good nick and managed not to damage them any more, if thats possible lol, and switched the old tractor tyres with some new Toyo 45 profile rubber :afro:
Handling is better and the car sits lower to the ground now

Got them on last night and look gorgeous, im well pleased with the overall finish and how smooth they are
Also sprayed the wheel nuts black to contrast the alloys which work really well

I decided last night while they were being fitted that i wont paint the lettering on as that would ruin the
look of the and im going with a set of compomotive sport black stickers that will be much nicer and more subtle

lol dont finish work for another 5 hours :panic:

Decided that im going to have a session working on her tonight again
the plan so far is to get my subs working again and fix the setup

Tommorow im going to paint my calipers and apply some lush white vinyls on them
and install my new front components and DVD player ;)

Next week and il be re-trimming the doorcards and possibly seats
before she goes into the bodyshop to get a few dents and chips removed and sprayed

After this all the serious performance parts will be bought and fitted

cheers matey, tbh i wasnt sure when i first got her 3 months ago but i think the colours grown on me as she looks good at night like quite sleek and sexy and the reflection and paint effect is amazing when the sun hits her ;)

£500 roughly spent on repairs over the last 3 months:

New bushes
New tyres
Wheel bearing
GTI leather
Interior
New skirt prepper, painted and fitted
Exhaust re-furbished and welded
Services
Alloys refurbed and sprayed gloss white ;)

The list goes on :p not bad so far i reckon but got lots of little things to come
in the next few weeks to get her ready and add to the progress

They were lush matey, turned a few heads on the way back
mostly underage but all good lol :p joking
