oh I agree with that wholeheartedly, I was just wondering on the bore of the system rather than the manifold bits as to what's required for something of this power/rpm/capacity :)

I don't suggest wossners at all regardless of compression mate, the design is not great

Thanks matey, appreciate the kind words :) I actually spend most of the year living in Sydney (yes, down under!) so don't get to drive it too often. My dad looks after it while I'm away, turning it over etc regularly.

I fly back for Christmas on Wednesday, land in the Uk on Thursday so will be working on it all day Friday getting a few upgrades for 2012 on the way

But as always keep this updated best car on here :D

jpsaxo 21st December 2012 18:46

Well i landed back in the UK yesterday evening, so naturally i was up the garage all of today playing with the car... lol

Beaniemoo aka Mike lended a hand today and we got a fair bit done...

First we started it up... Mike has a nice video of this which I'm sure he will upload later...

Next we set about stripping the full interior loom out of the whole car

Some epic munch!

And the finished full interior loom removed

More to come over Christmas while I'm back :D

NO way mate, I drove my brothers to Llandow in March years ago without a heater matrix, scared me for life lol

SGregg 21st December 2012 21:02

put a micro heater in instead (or just man up :P)

Lol, nah I'd rather go 0.25seconds slower per lap tbh

Beaniemoo 21st December 2012 22:56

I had a brilliant day today, pulling to Saxo apart along with a good haul from the 'closed' chip shop!
Lovely car that sounded amazing!
I currently have a Clio boot full of Saxo wiring, it looks a bit scary at the moment, but all will become clear when its spread out in my living room lol.
I will make sure the interior loom is of a quality to make the car proud!
Video of car as previously promised

...Also REAL cars don't have heater or carpets

Mainly the weather, life style & the crazy money you can earn in oz :) + I love the V8supercars so that's definitely a bonus. Also my wife is currently finishing off her degree at Sydney Uni and has permanent residency over there, she's not so fond of the cold lol

jpsaxo 24th December 2012 09:46

Work for a company called "Telstra" - same as BT over here. Can't believe he likes Perth, it's like a Ghost town + thousands of miles from anywhere lol

jpsaxo 28th December 2012 17:50

For more updates...

The car has been stored in my own little unit for the past 6months...

First job was to put the car back on axel stands

I then removed a few brackets from the engine bay that hadn't previously been powder coated as we ran out of time...

Engine bay as it currently stands with the brackets removed

The interior of the car is currently completely stripped and Beaniemoo will update with interior loom updates :)

willsy 28th December 2012 18:44

Good sized unit that is mate. Nice & tidy too.

AlexB 28th December 2012 19:38

unreal106 29th December 2012 10:34

Even harder when it's not your garage lol it's all about building our cars on our drives

Nice work Jp who dies your powder coating ?
