thanks mate just been outside tidying the car up and have just had an idea that involes the new roof and around 50 leds just need to plan how il do it with the leds hidden.

hope il get my 150 average at devon show but the mdf could bk fire on me and lower my scores

if you do come to devon show come over and say hello

Lippy 24th July 2009 23:36

DTM will cover the wood!? and might look half decent if done in Black to match the other black bits!?
With all that Bass I get the feeling that the wood might flex alot and eventually split the metal the bolts go through!? just a thought.
Looks like an awsome idea!
il see it Sunday in the flesh im sure!

sarke 24th July 2009 23:44

liam_b 25th July 2009 00:18

na its very hard to brake a window with bass only time ive seen them go is when there is already a small chip or crack

il have a look at your thread now mate

Lippy 25th July 2009 00:49

I cracked the windscreen on my Suzuki Swift GSi with music... not sure if it was damaged already but was after lots of music playing that I noticed it...
They are paper thin though

DTM as in Sunstrip or whatever you want to call it btw, would block out the sun too whilst driving to an extent (thats why I fitted mine!)

think only time someone will brake a windscreen that has already got a chip or crack in it will be 160dB playing music

oh not really a fan on sun strips i normaly use my sunvisa to bloke out the sun just more hassle from the police and mot man

liam_b 25th July 2009 14:26
