If you haven't already sorted the amp heres the list of wiring that needs doing:

Power cable from battery to amp

Earth cable from amp to chassis

RCA cable from headunit to amp (red and white connectors)

Remote cable from headunit to amp (usually blue)

Then run a speaker cable from amp +/- to crossover input +/- then from crossover woofer output +/- to woofer then crossover tweeter output +/- to tweeter

Does that make any sense? lol if you can post up a pic of the crossover box i can try and make it a bit easier to understand :y:

Does you crossover box have outputs for 2 woofers and 2 tweeters? If not then i guess you'd have to double up the speaker/tweeter connections, but not sure if this will work?

Andy

My Hertz ones didn't have conventinal crossover boxes...weird

Two output makes it easy then just follow my instructions and repeat the final speaker/tweeter connection for both sides :y:

If you get stuck PM a pic of the box and i'll try my best to help (better still bring the car over sunday and i'll give you a hand...anything to see it in person :P)

haha thought i saw u scoffing ur face :p
good luck on a feature anyway the car is certainly unique enough smart enough and had plenty of hard work into it so think itd be well deserved tbh :y:

jeffchiz 10th September 2010 20:36

wiring an amp to comps is pretty easy just time consuming as u have to rip out the interior to do it properly

Lewis_Howse 11th September 2010 14:38

Good picture with the police car behind :)
