See when you were going for it did you get the limter in 5th, because thats like the maxium your car will go?

Oh and another thing you all have to consider is if you have bigger alloys? They will affect of your speedo! Tyre profile etc.

Not necessarily, there's a limit your car will do, wind resistance could mean you dont reach the limiter/your car might not quite have enough power to reach the limiter in 5th.

ahahahahahhahahahahahahahahha

some of you people are right fucking retards

yeah got 130 outta ma one litre blud cos it has bare ebay super charger

AlexB 15th February 2009 13:38

mike stop spamming

and guys saxo speedos are very innacurate at speed
no saxo in standard (of even slightly modded form) will do 60 in second

get something like a satnav (slightly more accurate but still not 100% and compare
the faster yougo the further out it gets

Danhunt 15th February 2009 14:17

Ive got a halfords induction kid, 4 superchargerzzz i bought of ebay and it chipped. running about 200bhp and i can get 180 in 3rd.

Be serious people. You will struggle to get a ton out of a 1.1. 117 is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard!!! The wing mirrors start to fall off at 70mph!!

JRC1 15th February 2009 14:29

Lol, people stating they get over 110 in a 1.1...

I'm guessin you all bought this really SICK chip from eBay which gives you an extra gear and when you press this special red button, your engine turns into a 16v?

its not like were saying we put our foot down it goes straight to 100 in first gear, but it is possible. just takes time

even though the wingmirrors are the same across the saxo's? gtfo.

struggle to get a ton? even when the posted speed for it is 105 :wall:

delux 15th February 2009 20:08

i have to admit in my old 1.1 it managed 110 but took a while to get there and didnt have much more to give. i think everyone has done stupid speeds at one point so theres no point having a go at some people on here.

Im sure many forums with high performance cars will make the same sort of comments about people with all types of saxo's and various other "young peoples" cars.

walsh91 15th February 2009 22:30

116 mph iirc. Speedo will prob show 120/125 though. On most cars the speedo is miles out at these "autobahn" speeds :)

wallace570 15th February 2009 22:57

my pal had a mk2 saxo nad he got 110 with 3 people in on on a straight took about 5 miles to get from 90 to 110 but it slowly got there :D
