i see and agree with you on the wheels bud but they cost me originally £50 with 4 brand new tires from a mate so thats the only reason i have them. As money is scarse, any that i do have is going towards the engine to aid the turbo conversion.

Thanks for your interest and comments.

i think in total the whole cost of the car owes me £3100 give or take, so take out 700 for buying it and all other stuff in it like seats, cage and so on. Most things that are on the car are secondhand. (cage £100etc) .MTECH done the throttle body and ecu conversion but me and my friend chris Have done all the other stuff like making manifold, downpipe, wiring and piping and anything else that was needed etc to get it running and ready for mapping.

Cheers for your interest chris and chris:y:

Just to show you peeps how the car originally started and how far the car has come since i first got it. I bought the car to serve the purpose soley as a track car about 8 months ago and since then we have stripped, built amd fabricated it into what it is today. From a STANDARD VTS to a THROTTLEBODIED TURBO VTS
with the aid of a farm workshop to build it and MTECH to map and tune it!.

FROM THIS!!....

TO THIS!................

Just a bit of an uptade people with the car. its now back together with new headgasket, cambelt and others to freshen the engine up whilst it was in bits after taking the turbo, throttle bodies, inlet plenum and other bits etc.

i have taken the CAT CAMS 708 exhaut cam out and replaced it with the standard exhaust cam, we were getting really bad over lap last time so it has had to come out. this should help us more now rather than throwing the boost down the exhaust as before.

we had a problem with getting a verry irratic map reading off one throttle body track, so now we have plumbed in 4 outlets(1 off each track), then they go into a vaccum collector cannister(see pics) where we come off out of that to give a much reliable and constant vaccuum so in turn a equal map reading. this will help the final mapping session.

ive had a metal engineer on the end of our yard to make me up some solid engine mounts so there in the process of being done, there is a pic of 1 that is finished so far.

ive gapped the plugs down to .5mm like colin advised @ ATSPEED RACING, so that should help sparking when chucking loads of boost in. if anyone has any q's ill be happy to try and help,

many thanks

cheers peeps

Quality. The 1 youve taken a photo of looks good quality so will be interesting to see how much engine movement there is once they are fitted. :boxing:
