W343NNA 4th June 2013 23:39

Taster pics! Im in love aha really trying to put my own style into this car, took most ther interior out tonight ready for fitting the 206 wireing loom thinking of putting the aircon in too but sort of defeats the object of the roof aha

GolfJay 4th June 2013 23:54

I mean it in the least dickish way but as much as I love the wheels, they look too big to me. The arch is sat on the tyre but its not at all low.

Amazing wheels though!

moonstonechris 5th June 2013 00:28

is that touching cos if it is the paints gonna get ruined and isnt there a law about how far a wheel can protrude the arch as above dont want to be dickish lol, i love the wheels :)

The law is:

The top centre point of a wheel can be no more than 30mm out of the arch
The tyre tread MUST be within the arch.
A tyre must NOT make contact with the arch

I'm looking at the gap between the will and floor. And it needs raising yet! Its going to be higher than Prickles was prior to lowering!

W343NNA 5th June 2013 00:32

Pshhfft the law is ask me the question before slapping a i already know all that downer on my thread its boring ahah hush hush i cant mirraculasly do bodywork overnight! i have it planned and i dont want it "slammed" but im not raising it either its not about being low just because iv got huge dishes its nit a vw afterall plan is the bring the arches out and get a bit more stretch stay tuned :)

I really hope you do. It'll look immense if you pull it off. Personally though, it has got to go at least relatively low to work on polished 3 pieces.

W343NNA 5th June 2013 00:48

Well actualy after looking at it again i think i want it about 2 inch lower plan is to cut more out of the metal arch behind bring the arches out further same woth the sideskirt add a bit that comes out to match and also cut and extend the rear bumpers width going to take my time wanted it done for fcs but had some crazy plans and done some epic photoshops!

i was thinking this aswel. At first i thought the front of the car would be jacked up, the ground clearance is huge!

plans sound good though, hope you pull it off

wadoryu 5th June 2013 10:22

To let you know, it was almost undrivable when James had these fitted, He had to have bigger arches.

benJee_VTR 5th June 2013 22:26
