Id get it lowered before fitting the exhaust mate,
might look a bit chuff otherwise.

Noddy 9th January 2009 01:16

the rear is naturally lower than standard due to sub /amps etc in the boot so it doesn't look all that bad. I'm sorting out a couple of pics to upload now :)

Here's a couple of quick shots i got today,

Sneakydevil89 9th January 2009 09:35

gotta love magnex, i do mine :P
as for those dials, well jelous! i wish they made them for my 1.1.

Noddy 9th January 2009 12:46

IIRC the place i got them from does do a Mk1 version of the dials. I've yet to finish them as the clock is still green illuminated, need to take the dials apart and replace the led for a blue one :)

Sneakydevil89 9th January 2009 16:11

yeah, but i have a clock instead of a rev counter :( so they dont do one for that.
still looks awesome on yours.

Dan-Subtle 9th January 2009 16:13

looks good noddy, will look even better with a citroen sport gearknob ;)

Tom5190 9th January 2009 16:13

Exhaust looks good :) does it not knock off the bumper (when pulling away etc) as it looks really close to the recess ??

Karl 9th January 2009 16:54

Fancy putting her on track @ Brands man?

Noddy 9th January 2009 17:03

its tempting to track it at some point, but the brakes would have to be sorted and so would the suspension. Tracking it with digestive brakes and marshmallow suspension would be off putting to say the least. I sold the vts calipers as i never got round to getting them on last year.

I'm looking for a 266mm setup to go under the VTR alloys and a decent setup for suspension. Ideally drop the front by 50mm

The magnex is very close to the bumper, and only one of the hangers on the backbox is attached as the other rubber is too short to reach the underside of the boot :( - halfrauds don't do extended rubbers either :(

Dan - didn't get any parcels from you today:( - however the quickshift has arrived :D

Use a cable tie, put the cable in the hole in the rubber mount and tighen it up.

i could get you a picture so i can explain what im on about properly lol ??

:)

Noddy 9th January 2009 17:18

nah i know what you mean, i was thinking about that - i've got hold of a rubber support that i can mod to fit.

ok lol, the only reason i had to do it was my bumper recess is small for the supersprint to fit in :( but i didnt want to cut the bumper, for when i get rid of it you no what i mean lol :)

Noddy 10th January 2009 09:46

Couple more goodies arrived this morning, namely a quickshift and Citroen Sport Gearkob to go with :D

Need to find a bit of rubber to go inside the gearknob so that it sits just right on the quickshift, but i'd rather it was too big than too small :D

saxomark 10th January 2009 09:55

Sounds good Mate, and i had my citroen sport knob on my quickshift, and it was fine, doesnt need an rubber thing, just screw it down, with the allen key.

Mark

Noddy 10th January 2009 10:00

There is quite a bit of space and i don't want it rocking on the top of the stalk, so the rubber is there to pack it out, fill the gap and stop it from rocking....

I also want the stalk to go in the middle of the hole and not to one side....

Ben_L 10th January 2009 13:29

what quickshift was it the you got? exhaust looks good

also where did you get the dials from? they looks really good

Noddy 10th January 2009 22:41

B&M in the end, I'll try and find the place where i got the dials from but i'm pretty sure they're no longer trading due to the credit crunch......

Noddy 12th January 2009 22:55
