Got a few piks today i fitted the bumper, wing and arch to get the gap difference between the gti / vt kit filled up ( just look at the pik lol )

Rite not updated in well ages !
Because ive been teaching my self how to paint with my spray gun through trial and error lol :p Don't get me wrong i was ok when i started just been using water based paint for the first time really. But quite happy with myself now so im going to start my panels and bumpers. Heres my slam ive already painted - (pics off my phone so not the best need to get a better pic as there's so much reflection on it :A: )  |

Well i should be posting some pics of everything painted up now ! Got up this morning and headed down to the garage all excited because it was paint day!!
everything was going fine got my base coat down left it to dry then came back mixed up a full pot of lacquer had everything ready to go and my compressor wouldn't start !!! Really pissed off tried to fix it but nothing completely dead ! Even tried the universal fixing tool "the hammer" Oh well hopefully get some cash over christmas to get a new one Was so close to finishing the body work as well !! |

Nothing to update really. ordered a new compressor and should be here soon and will continue spraying So should have some shiny new paint pics for you next week hopefully ! |

Long over due but finally got some paint down !! :A:
Goy my base coat down tonight and im well pleased with how its gone so far. First time using water based as well, looks slightly matt finish at the moment depends where the light is shining from but ill be back down tomorrow night to do my clear coat ! Some pics - they all look so much better already for being the same color !     Comments please !! |

Well i got up this morning with a nice hangover after the christmas du and started fitting my bumpers and wings!
I got them on but still needs to fix the bumpers inside the arches as i couldn't be arsd to jack it up in the snow and i was feeling a bit delicate !! Anyway here are some quick picks - morette light covers not on as there being prepd for spraying     What you think ?? ;) |

Updates ----
Finished painting inside and fit my gti dash minus heater controllls and a few other plastic trim bits i still need do get! Donations welcome!! :D Will start to route and tidy my interior loom sunday, will try and hide as much as i can, but that should be easy part of the build for me being a security engineer / sparky. Took some quick pics but not the best so i will get some better ones at the weekend.   |

Am very impressed with the gti bumper. Is it me though or does the bonnet sit slightly too high? Love where this is heading!

little update ;-
Sprayed and fitted my 106 wing mirrors:   Also sprayed my side skirts and spoiler at the same time, They just need final finishing then ill get them fitted. As well ive got myself a set of jp4 cam covers as my j4 seals are shot and a few flocked parts just awaiting delivery of those. Was going to do my interior loom but forgot my electrical tools so will get that cracked another day ! Love the look of the mirrors tho :D |

Not much to update really funds are tight and saving for holiday. so will be trying to do tasks from now on a minimal budget ! And ill be very busy as i have something exciting that may be coming up for the start of the race season
So im going to tackle a rough idle :n: I think my fuel filter is full of crap as im running on low fuel ( Low lights been on for over a year ) lol beat that one! So ill put a new filter on it- Put some fuel in!!!! and some red ex to clean the injectors and will see where that gets me Theres no fault light on so will try that before i go down the mine field of replacing sensors. Lambda is brand spanka so shouldn't be that and ive cleaned ICV  Oh yeah Notice in the pic above i need a top rad hose as well ! money money ! |
