Get paid on 4th, so boot build could get finished. Also, I will be filling up so will see if my lambda sensor has improved my fuelling issue

BennWilson 18th October 2012 10:57

UPDATE - Lambda sensor has worked a treat, but I still managed to spend all my wage in 2 weeks :(

End of Novemeber til Beginning of January I will be getting a fairly large amount of money, so dropping the car 50/60mm all around and hopefully getting new alloys. Not sure what I want yet though.

Also going to be looking out for a 1.6 engine, not in such a rush for that though.

GTuff 19th October 2012 19:04

To answer your previous question the vtr and vts wheels use the flat bolts steelies use the tapered ones but doesn't matter asking as they don't fall off

BennWilson 29th October 2012 12:00

Definitely need some new shoes on the spaxo!

BennWilson 31st January 2013 16:21

Finally got a decat manifold from Ali123.

Here is a video of the exhaust sound.

Crashed it. Brakes failed leading to me rolling into another car.

Dont look to 'bad'

How did your brakes fail?

BennWilson 6th February 2013 01:54

Air in the system I believe. They work fine now.

It isn't too bad, as far as I can see just a new bonnet and bumper needed. But who knows what is hiding behind all that. Radiator wasn't hit so can't be too bad as that would be first thing to go if the crash has led to more issues.

BennWilson 6th February 2013 11:56

Picking up a gloss black bonnet and a VT* front bumper later!

Pics when I get them

Gandi699 6th February 2013 12:00

Air shouldnt get into the system though unless theres a leak

I know, I'm guessing it was from when we changed the fluid a few weeks earlier. Either way, I'm going to change all the lines when I get paid.

bobertmate 6th February 2013 17:36

looks like bonnet, bumper, headlights and slam panel to me mate, cheap fix though :)

BennWilson 6th February 2013 21:34

Bonnet on, bumper ready. Slam panel was twisted, sorted it. New headlights are needed though!

BennWilson 6th February 2013 23:23

As said, got the bumper and bonnet tonight. Bonnet went on after twisting the slam panel back, had to use a fucking engine crane though! Bumper going on asap, and getting headlights when I can. Here are some really poor photos for you!

looks royally fucked now =/

Bedford126 6th February 2013 23:28

You can't fit something to something that's bent mate start at the foundations and work your way up. start with a slam panel they are only quids.

Gandi699 6th February 2013 23:31

Could have got one from the guy who sold the bonnet?

BennWilson 6th February 2013 23:39

Slam panel is fine now, all straight etc. Bumper is just hanging off though and light brackets are all snapped. Once they are replaced, will all be gravy!

BennWilson 7th February 2013 00:43

Sorted out headlights, picking them up tomorrow.

BennWilson 9th February 2013 02:05

Ok, so it is fixed. Still a bit of sorting out to do, straightening everything etc. After that, it will be fine.

There's only 1 of them rubber bungs that go into slam panel on the bumper, same with the hangers, but I have no idea where the hangers go either. Under lights?
