well the time come to update this its been months since i last did!!! LOL LAZYBUM!!! OL

well we will start with my max power shoot!!! ... shot in sept these are my own photo i took on the day call it a preveiw of the feature...









and then on the 5th nov the car fails the MOT badly this year!!!

failing on both front chassic legs corroded lso both rear arches corroded and offside sill corroded, rear breaklines corroded and also movement in the rear axle bearings...

sso i took the car to a mates garage and he says we do car on a nite £300 labour,weld and ect ect

well after a good start taking rear arches out cleaning them up for the new ones also same for thee sill and getting new ones and finding an axle 2nd hand things slowed slow he seemed to not wanna do it and he never hardly stayed to work on it...

this bit took a month already!!!

i kicked off abit aand then we was in fitting new arches and fitting the axle....
with axle in we checked it for play and it had play in the bearings!!! so the axle came back out!! i neever wasted time i send textss ect eect out and got anuver axle which seemed ok off a mate...

things just stopped at the garage again... 6 weeks since going in... 2 rear arches fitted only

week 7 kicked off again...
so we fitted the 2nd axle then new sill fitted

things stop yet again...

week8 one side of the chassis legs done...
so after 8 weeks we having done 2 rear arches, one sill, a axle and plated the chassis leg at one side....

week9 i getting really fooked off and say right get the car done finished in garage time i will pay i need the car!!!!

so they do nothing for a week then do the other chassis leg.. then for sum reason (unknown) the week not goto MOT for anuver week... hmmm

so week 11 now aand the car fails MOT!!! WTF!! rear axle bearing movement, found more welding and all the lights in the boot not working!!(i sed u not check it before MOT and they just sed no!!!)

so i gets right on the phone to IMaxles at 9pm weds night order a reconed axle from them!! gets to fri morning 8.30am axle delivered!!! £275 and that quick great service IMaxles!!!!!

week 12 the neww axle fitted the welding sorted and light sorted

week 13 monday afternoon finally the car passes MOT!!!!

the day i pick car up the handbreak cable comess off bottom off caar and snaps and the side skirt and the front arche kit not fastened on proper and wwere flappeed around in the wind!!!

i called them i sed i want it fixing!!! so i wait 3 days then i go down and when i get there theey just say you can do that you know where everything is!!!! fooking hell!!!!

so fook it i did it!!!


the guy the friend of a friend who sold me the firsst axle not giving money back he keeps saying he is going to and sstarteed fooking around so a mate at royal mail got his address visit time i think
the mate of mine i got the 2nd axle off givee me money right back no worries pal

so the round up....

1st axle £130
2nd axle £130
reconed IMaxle £275
hub bearings £100
rear arches and sill £50

= £685 - the £130 for money back for the axle wwhich is £555

first mate rate £300
garage time and mot £150 (wwe agreed not over £500 total)

=£500
but.... the other guy who 50/50 owner of the garage say i owe anuver £160!!! for garage time....(i will add i have done at least %50 of the work myself!!!!)

but i have only given £420 upto now..so i owe £80 or as the other lad says i owe £240
now after all the fooking about and doing at least %50 of the work and aall the probs getting it back i will not be having them the £160 oveer the argee price £500 but i thinking i should not even paay the £80 i do owe because of all this....hmmm

it was all worth it your car looked mint at humber meet what date is it in max power?

Looks like a good location for the photoshoot Yorkie........may have to go and have a look at a max power mag......thats something i never thought i would say again lol

coolcool pal yeah looking forwards to that if the car makes it needs a gearbox first but i will be there as its my birthday on the friday too

alright yorkie only just noticed you got that ariel you asked me about last year lol have you though about smoothing the ariel over altogether would look smart
