Can I ask why you had you stuff that was fitted by ma motorsport removed from the engine bay?

Thanks Joe

Few reasons really, the passengers side had to be removed to fit the gearbox mount. So we removed the drivers side to match

Also It wasn't sealed so basically meant the chassis rails could easily get water in and rust from the inside outwards. Whilst removing we also found a rather large amount of sealer had been used instead of welds lol. Plus the weight saving of course ;)

Lewisimo 3rd April 2014 00:39

Wow josh looks great. I am amazed how you can coordinate this even from oz. you must be spending some dosh!

Beaniesport cracking on with getting it back together now :)

Lewisimo 3rd April 2014 10:53

Looks absolutely fantastic mate really. What was the damage to the wallet for the full front suspension set up? You've gone for the rear too right? I need to talk to beanie about possible storage of my rallye as I'm buying a house but can't find one with a garage currently but do not want to sell it! :-/

xdoddyx 16th April 2014 20:13

Car looks amazing. Love the added engine mounts and the Satchell setup.

In car Bias valve worth fitting? As i know with the rear brake bias valve need adjusting when the rear has been lowered as it can be quite "interesting".

welshpug 17th April 2014 19:11

Engine wise this car is probably one of the best out there unless Sandy has built a few more evolutions of them :D

I'll have to get some pics of the rally car I service for, its just been in Colins workshop for the widest setup they've done so far...

No SB engine yet, but clicky box is in there ;)

That's not the red and white one that's knocking about up North is it by any chance?

jpsaxo 18th April 2014 05:37

There's 4-5 engines of similar spec to mine that I know of.

Originally there was mine & one in Ireland built at a similar time. There's one being built currently, and another 1 in a 106 rally car. Will Diclaudio's is also similar spec too I believe :)

Yes it's definitely worth fitting, the standard mechanical one I had would always seize up over time, plus I don't think the standard unit would work correctly with the new rear suspension set up I now have :)

jpsaxo 9th June 2014 05:43

Update 09/06/14

Engine bay sprayed & front end put back in

Engine in;

Rad & power steering etc in;

Exhaust modified to suit the new set up;

Engine back out to get the gearbox etc all finished off;

Gearbox research for hours and hours on service-box

Second set of SuperL's + a spare sand blasted ready for powdercoating

Just building up the BE box mate. Lots of other bits and bobs to sort out which I am in the process of doing as we speak. May be a start up video end of July is the plan :)

Cheers matey. Satchels kit really is immensely well thought out, and ALOT more than meets the eye in these pictures.

Im glad its noticed, its taken alot out of me over the last 6 months to be honest. Its hard trying to co-ordinate things from the otherside of the world. I'll be glad to just getting back to sorting out 'bits and bobs' instead of massive upgrades from now on :)
