Love them wheels. Usually found on old skool fords. lol

djmartin 26th January 2010 20:58

very nice wheels. and as said above they are usally on old fords mainly rally cars.

webby 26th January 2010 21:41

yeah the rev's are a popular ford wheel choice. old school cool.

Olly 26th January 2010 22:16

custom machined i bet about £150-200 per wheel! You flush git :D

any luck with topmounts dude? Im getting cba with making some lol! Did a few pro-desktop images today being off sick, but nothing more than that... Might just end up buying some!

webby 26th January 2010 22:20

haha the wheels are trick.
i have not had chance to go to the machine shop yet mate but they essentially ast reps now. they are easy to machine i have a couple of days off so may get them done.

bide_furio 26th January 2010 22:24

i was lookin at those wheels before i got mine but sadly missed out on them! love um

Olly 28th January 2010 21:39

Dude, hows the mounts coming along?

Been doing a few designs im my boredom, Measured the standard mount spacings, Found a decent quality bearing and designed these around them, they similar to what your planning?

Said bearing, http://www.rbcbearings.com/spherical...on&type=Sealed
20mm internal, 35x12 external.

What you recon? Might ask my local place for a price!

webby 28th January 2010 21:59

yes, nearly identical to that olly i have a couple designs to try for caster but its proving difficult. they should be done soon but im struggling to find time atm even with having time off.

ask for a price olly, tbh they are not that hard to machine. an experienced turner should knock 'em out in a couple of hours.

raunchz 28th January 2010 22:01

mounts look good Olly - they a replacement for standard dampers/springs?

girlofthenight 28th January 2010 22:02

love the wheels! looking good.

Olly 28th January 2010 22:23

Will get a price when i can pop over to them! Castor adjustable would be nice! just hard to adjust accurately with the mounts underneath!

ross there to fit coilovers, With a turned down top to 20mm, Just basically bolt the damper/spring pan to the spherical bearing (sits in a recess on the centre) and then can be bolted to chassis same as standard. the moving carriage allows camber adjustment by slackening the bolts and moving in or out. Rip off of the AST mount tbh, Hopefully a bit cheaper than £290 though! :panic:

Plus its Solid, no rubber mounts...

Love that roof mate! and i like the volt meter you have fitted, where is that from?

webby 9th February 2010 07:30

Volt meter was from eBay mate. About £6 quid I think. Its faily acurate too I tested with my volt meter and it was only .01 out so I can't argue.

DJDannyB 9th February 2010 19:32
