*or is my age with full no claims
|
well i am moving out very soon as saved for a house deposit and currently looking for the right focus RS all you have to do is save, rather than spunk money into saxos just because they follow what everyone else is doing
|
cant say i plan on spending a fuckin penny on my saxo more than i need to, utterly futile. If you have the money, yeah get something nicer, but for something that ultimately gets you from A-B....dunno, just think I'm over the hump of wanting to own something ridiculous 'just cos'. If and when I'm loaded, I'd be getting something like a nice 5 series sport or something.

Starlets are shits boxes I'd have either frenchies over one.. It's not arguable the starlet is the current Chav box of choice. |
meh, they're all chav boxes including the civic.

LOL - Swaping the Mint 98 spec for a Saxo...:homme:
The reason why joined to to educate you/this fool about Starlets Quote:
Starlets are for Japanese car enthusiats i have NEVER seen a chav in a starlet or glanza, from a early age chavs either get a Saxo, 106, corsa or a nova, 'Modify' their cars to look like the ones from max power(have you ever seen a Glanza/starlet in max power? NO because there are huge gay body kits and boot installs for them) and then when they have cars a few of them, they go on to buy a 1998 subaru impreza in sliver then put a rally livery on them. Saxos are well known for being chav wagons - not saying you are but just letting you know. which to be honest im sure saxo's are nice little cars but its the chav icon they have. every saxo in my area are alway chavs, driving them thinking that there driving gods, thinking there king of the road. I know you are all gunna hate because you are all saxo fan boys but thats my 2 cents As stated above some where all sporty hatch backs are becoming chavs wagons becuase of the cheapness of them, i wish i could change it but i can't Because 'hot hatches' are cool little cars. :y: Rant over |
TBH i would rather have even a Starlet SR over a Saxo.So i would deffo have a Glanza over a Saxo.

not read the thread, r5 ftw all day long, if i could find a reck id rebuild it to glory............ anyone who sais otherwise is a total 'tard, yes theyre un reliable, costly, etc,but totally iconic! and a decent spec nicely styled and well powered r5 will out do any vts or glanza at any show, and i dont mean by power as all 3 can do well,
you wont find as big a crowd round any other car then a well spent r5 in comparison to the 3 |

Let me know troll. |
To the troll.... Starlets are easily just as chavvy as a saxo. The R5gtt mentioned is far more rare and iconic. The Starlets are good when modified correctly and tbh if I wanted to go back to a boys car, I would more or less chose a starlet/Gt but not because of the chav tag being less, more because of the tuning potential.

There all old hat these days anyway, theres very few R5 turbos left that are driveable
The starlet will fade out, its old and will slowly dissapear VTS will last for a while longer due to the amount there are and the fact they were still made upto 2003 (I think) Yeah starlets can be fast and so can R5 turbos but they will slow fade away I reckon |
I wouldn't choose any tbh, but if i had too, The R5.
