OMP definately, never been a fan of the sparco ones

Karl 12th January 2009 23:03

OMP mate.

Noddy 12th January 2009 23:09

thats what i was thinking, only got the sparco one originally as it filled the rear of the bay up above the inlet mani. (sits lower than the s one)

With re-spraying it, I found last time that getting the resin caoting off to be a complete pain in the arse...

You reckon that primering and spraying straight on top will be ok??

Karl 12th January 2009 23:10

No idea about paint mate,

you wanna come get this spare R Alloy for £20 this week? lol.

Noddy 12th January 2009 23:15

how bad is the bubbling on it? (hence asking if you had a pic of it :)

Sammy-Boy 13th January 2009 07:38

I would go for the OMP one IMO dude looks better in blue or red?

Dan-Subtle 13th January 2009 10:23

Noddy 13th January 2009 12:09

who said seats are on their way ;)

Havn't got round to fitting the quickshift yet, hopefully will go on tomorrow, but still I'm liking it already, nice and light:)

Noddy 13th January 2009 19:41

Lil update, picked up dave's pair of Cobra Daytona seats and harnesses about 2 hours ago, will get them fitted along with *hopefully* my quickshift tomorrow. Just need to touch up the subframes *hammerite ftw* and get them in....

VTRacer 13th January 2009 22:40

Billy-Boy-Racer 14th January 2009 11:52

Flat arch :D FTW

MattWilliams 14th January 2009 12:15

Looking good Noddy. Get some pics up of the new seats once you've fitted them mate.
Keep up the good work mate. O and I finally managed to get those dials in and working last night lol. After about and hour and a half of pure cursing, whilst trying to get that bolt out that I was talking to youy about !

Sneakydevil89 14th January 2009 12:39

when the buckets going in mate?

Noddy 14th January 2009 13:27

buckets are half in atm, and the quickshift is now fitted as well. They're so much more comfy than the standards. I'll get some pics later once they're all in - just having some lunch, then i'll be back out to get the other seat in :D

Xsi16v_Jk 14th January 2009 13:35

NIce!!

Prickle 14th January 2009 13:36

The OMP one looks better imo, that other one looks pointless

Noddy 14th January 2009 17:30

seats and quickshift are all now fitted. Need to order some new dual-release 3 point harnesses to go with the buckets so that I can still get into the back. They'll be ordered either tomorrow or friday.

I forgot to take some photos so i'll do that tomorrow :err:

If anybody is after a set of black 2" Sabelt 3 point harnesses, drop me a PM :y:

Karl 14th January 2009 17:33
