Few updates today :y:

Kept meself busy with a few pre-show mods today and gave both cars a good clean in a 3 hour odd whoring session :p

Finished side skirt ready to be fitted once i'v got some parts from my local Tates citroen dealers...

Made a shopping list of what i need and this is some of it :p

* Gromit for rear wiper
* Skirt and body clips
* Plugs
* Washer
* Screws

Part 2 to follow ;)

RedB 8th July 2007 00:23

Part 2

Just come back from Tates Citroen with the parts and dropped past a huge halfrauds on the return trip for some more stuff

Here's what the haul looks like (minus some more cleaning goodies which u'v all seen before, Meg's glass cleaner and trim condition and leather cleaner/conditioner)

Old skirt holdings

Nice shiny new ones £1.50 a clip, i was robbed LOL

Skirt screws

Halfrauds stuff

Whole hoard :p

And look what came in the post for next week;)

Part 3

Last set of pics from todays work

Managed to fix the exhaust today by re-welding it and replacing some sections of pipe that were rotten and shite.

Also re-furbed the rear box at the same time and checked the whole system over, which now makes the system sound and run much better, more of a growl to the exhaust now :y:

Also managed to de-wiper the rear screen and make a custom gromit as all of the ones i found didnt fit and were crap
fit the new skirt that i made earlier then give her a good clean along with my other car by having a thorough whoring session ;)

Here's a cheeky snap of the new subs for my fiesta

I gazed out of the window between washing cars just daydreaming :p

Skirt is finally on, nice shadow i know. First time shes had both skirts on (been fully dressed) in about 4 months:P

Last couple of pictures of the rear screen :y: and yes its all reflection not dirt btw;)

Going to return some stuff to halfrauds for the refundage and give the interior a going over tommorow before i colour code the door locks and petrol cap lock to make them blend in with the paintwork

Wheel bearing will also be fitted this week and more prep to make sure shes tip-top for the show
which means spending lots more money on cleaning and engine goodies ;)

Cheers and enjoy, more updates soon

Thoughts and comments please people?

Payney 13th July 2007 19:10

Um.. It's shit.

Nah joke mate, looks like a stunner, love the pictures... Alloys could do with a refurb.

Rest is nice and clean, keep it that way. :d

(uncle has a refurb company... Would be about £140 for those 4 i think...PM me if interested)

sampotter 13th July 2007 19:22

Very nice mate, agree about the refurb suggestion though

RedB 16th July 2007 20:02

RedB 24th July 2007 21:32

Here are my old lights that i have just removed to fit the new smoked rears i have

Comparison between the old and new lights, not very noticeable but subtle and i think there lush :p

New short arial in place of the old 'weapon' of an arial that was fitted...

Here you can see the huuuuge diffence in size

RedB 24th July 2007 21:34

Stupid deep angled shot that shows of the gloss

Rear shot

More to come later....
