OK, so just had a quick play with my new camera. Just some shots of it outside my house.

whatt front splitter you got on that chip?

kool they hard to fit cause i quite like the look

Not really dude. People do them in different ways, but this is how i did it.

Drill about 6 holes spread across the top of the slitter and also through the underneath of the bumper (behind the original 'splitter').
Then i had some M10 (i think) bolts which i made some 50mm long spacers for out of some steel pipe from work and bolted it up like that.
Cut the ends of the splitter to match the length of the bumper.
Self tappers on the ends of the splitter into the bumper.
Then with the offcuts i cut the very ends off to use as end caps and araldite'd them to the splitter with a small bit of black silicone to smooth the look off.

Caught the splitter hundreds of times and stuff and never came off. I think the bumper would actually come off with the splitter lol.

think ill have a look into it, mighe rely on you to come do it lol aint that far away or i could come to you haha

Much better height, need to take one of the splitters off now.

Louis, i didnt go last year either, went year before though (i think). It's quite small compared to alot of shows but worth it if your a french car nut lol. Im sure we could arrange a shoot there or something.

Yea, 90mm rear, 60mm front pal. The new ride height has actually grown on me and i now prefer it. Alot more comfortable, still low and looks better tbf.

I think yours could actually look quite good with black wheels :y: Things arent changing much, due to lack of funds at moment lol. I made a resolution to get a couple of things paid off this year so the Sax and the bike arent having much splashed on them till it's sorted :(

yeah im realy undecided bout the wheels being black or silver on mine. every time i see a silver saxo with black vtr rim's i dont like it but when i see a photoshop of mine with black wheels i do like it lol.

i don't think your car actually needs anything else done to it look's great now as it is :y: im in the same situation with funds at moment to lol ;)

The thing that annoys me most is the interior. Saxo interiors are shit lol. Was meant to be buying a GTI interior off my mate last xmas, but i bought the Ducati instead lol. Other than that, im thinking different wheels and cam/vts lump. But obviously all this takes time and money lol. I'll see how things turn out really.

Although, i've now got paint for my rocker cover and i've found the badge im after for it. So thats my next mission as it'll cost next to nothing. Keep your eye's peeled peeps lol.

Engine Bay
 

Went to see Metallica last night at Nottingham. Fooking amazing! Wanted to see them since i was about 10, so was a big thing for me and i loved it lol. But i'd also booked the day after (today) off, so i could recover lol.
Seemed like a good chance to get stuck into the car, so this morning i pulled the Wolfrace wheels out the shed, gave them a good polishing and.... put them back in the shed lol. I'll await spring before i put them on.
But also i had got some blue hose from work yesterday to spruce up the engine bay abit. The rocker cover's soon getting painted so then there will be even more colour, but hope you like what i've done for now:

Cheers dude. Yea, i noticed you'd painted it. Looking good :y: Quite like your bay, looks nice and clean but isnt fussy. Yea, when i was doing mine i actually thought about your car and was thinking it would look good with red lol. Get it done :)

Just need to get my rocker painted now and order the badge. Then i plan on painting the head black.
