box wont be anything technical, simple slot port, woofer possibly facing boot lid, space / load depending!
but yeah a min of 4.5 cuft tops 5, after displacement and tuning is what i will be going for :y:

got bored the other day and flared the port off alittle shud improve air flow alittle =]

springs will be on 2mos =] and ive dun abit to the box to day will upload pics 2mos =]

ive made the top layer to 24mm mdf to stop the flexing =]

rite ive but an extra 12mm mdf on the top of the box to make it 24mm thick, this has strengthened it alot.

ive also smoothed of the port =]

for smoothing the port and flaring it, it needs to be shit smooth and round!
if that makes any difference, i doubt it would be that noticable! the full inside of the box smoothed and rounded off would of been your best improvement!

have you tried making a different sized port to change the tunning, making that nice and smooth / round and putting it inside the port.

like, make another one, the same size as the internal measurements, and slide it in!
could be interesting . . .

also, whats the measurements of your box?

the other day went to boston and saw a saxo geting broken and got sum door 4 £5. so ive started my new door cards today =] hopefully it will look gd at the end =]

little update. got both of the door cards to the same level now just need sum 12mm mdf now =]
