^that thing is a diesel as well! Pick what type of smoke you want, diesel, tire or both! The turbo is from a truck and he has to repeatedly kick the clutch to get it spooling, once there it's pretty epic though!

qrty 30th April 2012 17:24

Some of you may know the car! :P

MiniGibbo 30th April 2012 17:26

Epic car though, will get some more pics when he has it!

Jay_ 30th April 2012 23:17

i am shamelessly stealing these oFF S|W

edit -

question time.

E36 touring, OR 98 A4 Avant?

Avant I can get in diesel and I prefer the more rounded look to them, but E36s have a slightly larger load space....

qrty 1st May 2012 00:29

Do you really need to ask Jay? :homme:

You know which one makes sense!

I'm going to ignore you an gibbo on the matter as you are biased bum boys at both ends of the scale :homme:

unless you have an incredibly good point.

rey 1st May 2012 09:33

You wanted load space didn't you? For when your taking your bands stuff around?

MiniGibbo 1st May 2012 10:10

My highly relevant point is audi's are for pole smokers..

I knew someone was going to call me on this....

Yes I did. But another member is FINALLY buying a car. So it's not AS essential but still need to take the majority of stuff...

Giraffe 1st May 2012 10:55

I'd get a Passat or a Volvo...

rey 1st May 2012 10:58

I'd get an E36 Tourer or a Pissrat estate personally.

B5 Avant's don't really look amazing IMO, and you can get Passat's for dirt really...

qrty 1st May 2012 11:03

In all seriousness from what I can find is the Audi boot space is 390 Litres and the BMW is 430 Litres! So not much in it tbf!

If needed...

qrty 1st May 2012 11:04

This is also probably the best "What car thread?" to date! :P

MuZiZZle 1st May 2012 11:13

for me it would have to be an RS4/6 or a 335D

I just have a real hankering for a 335

:S

hahahaha I'm well proud of it :A:

It's cos I haven't called it "what car" I merely started a discussion on estates and I happen to want one :homme:

There is indeed very very little in it load space wise, and I hadn't considered a passat, so that is another potential.

I imagine that audi & passat would be cheaper to insure as they aren't RWD....

If you want a massive boot (and you don't mind being stereotyped as a rep) then you need a Vectra estate. Seriously they are bloody massive!

Indeed. My old Octavia hatch was a tardis. The Estate is obviously bigger!

I've got my eye on a few A6 estates at the moment. Really fancy something I can use for work as well as shows, and be big enough to take the family and dog out in!
