Well i havnt updated this in a while so though i should really do something about it.

Got my new wheels on thursday and put them on. I think they look minted ive only ever seen one other saxo with them on.

Also went to crail for this first time this year yesterday. Was wet when i left but dry all day up there :). Only managed a 16.0 quarter this time unlike ne 15.8 last time :(

Think it was because my gears are all over the place need to take a look at them and see whats up.

Ye its just running the standard cam again. Decided it was more hassle than it was worth :(

I was selling it for a starlet gt turbo but i changed my mind. Which a think in the long run was a good decision :)

The gears are acting up now though :(

Ive already replaced the bit with the ball on it and the main gear selector to try and get rid of the really bad play when its in gear and neutral. But no luck :( There is play in the main pin that goes into the gearbox, but the only way to fix that is to take the gearbox out i think ??

I think you can get at it and replace it with the gearbox in the car - just need to be enough room to hit it out with a big hammer !

Looks sweet with the wheels mate. They're getting more popular now those Pro Race 3's.
There's me and another saxo on here aswell as you now, plus Alys 106, and yet more to come. Lets make them the new Pro Race 1.2!! lol

will your gear problem not just be gear linkages ? Those should tighten up the gear stick a little is think :S

na its not the linkages, although i do have some stainless ones somewhere.

ye its a nice wheel. How did you get yours in that colour though i looked and they dont do them in anthracite :(. I even phoned rimstock but no luck :(
