yeah so i am lol it needed a new bulb i think but it was good, anytime now but we need to sort something out on it first, hopefully before the weekend but going classic ford show this weekend so depends on time.

also got new wipers and new front number plate lol.

what a night

sold the vts last week so went to look at a vtr tonight that i saw for sale on gumtree and was only an hour away got there at 9, took it for a quick drive and knew it needed a new clutch release bearing and a few other things but didn't drive great lol, but i bought it as was fairly cheap.

left his with the car at 10 and had not much petrol and most places were closed. we went down to heathrow to find one and at the traffic lights suddenly all the gears went except 3rd gear, so all the way home we were stuck in 3rd gear and only just got back luckily :n:

i have to thank my dad though for getting it back though :y:

well i saw the vts come up cheap and needed some stuff doing to it so i bought it, but sold it as i don't drive yet and would never get insured on a vts.

but yeah the s was really nice, but this vtr looks nice just, it has been ragged around lol:n:

haha one day i will, but do hope to get myself a mk1 vtr or westcoast at the end of the year maybe and will keep that for when i'm driving lol. ;)

How does it drive with the VTS gearbox?
Been thinking of a new gearbox at some point..

i havent actually driven it, but i have been in it when my dad was driving and for a vtr it goes really well, but it is definatly an improvent over the vtr box imo mate.

but yeah if i get another car vtr/1.4 i reckon i will fit a vts gearbox.

wish i could have been more help but i don't drive lol.

yeah TD 1.2's would look great on here but might get another saxo mk1 westcoast, maybe a vtr but insurance will be alot.
