Unfortunately funds are stretched to the limit so for now i'm on a standard vts box with a backup vtr box for when it explodes. BE conversion is next thing on my list but it will have to wait til i get back from holiday at the start of august as money will be very tight until then. Gonna see what sort of boost colin reckons will be safe to drive about on until i can get that sorted :y:

atspeedracing 7th April 2011 17:46

glad you are pleased dan, as i say, presently just waiting for all the silicone hoses to turn up, then we can get cracking with it, and get her running :) then we can make a plan for exhaust system.

- colin.

blackie_2k5 7th April 2011 18:01

what boost you going for 1bar?

Wayne 7th April 2011 20:03

Colin's done some nice work on your car dan;) looks tidy:) can't wait to see the finished article:y: i'd run super safe power on your car as MA box ain't going to last long otherwise chocolate gearbox's MA's are:P

atspeedracing 7th April 2011 20:03

boost will be controlled via gizzmo with selectable boost memories. but up to 1bar will be available. the GT25R combined with stock cams etc makes for a nice fast road car.

this is our stage 1 component package... which is very upgradeable with add on parts, e.g. not much has to be done to get onto stage 2, where much more power is available, i believe this is dans plan for next year.

MA boxes are fine even with more power (just not silly power). Its people who cant drive for shit that kill the boxes.

I agree Ryan, it's the torque and when the tyres grip with serious power that strips the teeth on the MA box's, i have not killed an MA box while driving my cars suppose it's how you drive tbh:P

Which gizzmo has Dan gone for Colin? should be fairly fast car for dan to handle:P better get my stage 2 turbo'd build with you on the go as soon as i can Colin;) what engine mounts has dan got on his car Colin?

atspeedracing 7th April 2011 20:45

gizzmo ms-ibc
those are the spoox motorsport engine mounts (i use same on my car and deans car), both upper, and lower in fast road spec. the full race ones are 20% stiffer.

- colin.

dannygti 7th April 2011 20:52

looking good dan and atspeed.
is this using standard internals?

when is this due to be back together and run up on the rollers?
