Haha, jamie, my mum and sister both say stuff about glanza's everytime they see one saying how ugly they are, there cool to the younger generation ONLY because they have turbo's but in aberdeen, its overkill - its car of the centuary, theres more of them than saxo's or even corsa's!! especially with a few importers up here aswell there VERY easy to get hold of.

Jamie 7th December 2010 01:01

Lol, don't get me wrong they like any car with the right owner can be done right, but the guy who came from GlanzaVille' is deluded.

Cammy 7th December 2010 01:05

Nutorious-C-a-t on this forum had a very well spec'ed glanza that was very clean, not the normal "turning the boost to max" glanza, thats the kind of person you call an ENTHUSIAST.

Not someone who buys one one thinks lowering, drift wheels and turning the boost to max isnt called an enthusiast, which is what this guy (as you call it from glanzaville) has done to his.

putting a drift toy on his FWD moon buggy.

Jamie 7th December 2010 01:08

A pal of mine has one, it's running a TD04 turbo IIRC out of a Scooby WRX and a bar of boost, it's very quick, but still fugly as sin lol!

Cammy 7th December 2010 01:13

they are bassicly a LWB-Micra with a spoiler to stop it taking off

How does posting picture's of shit bodykitted Saxo's make the Glanza better? Surely that just shows those car's owner's have poor taste?

And besides:

Looks like a bloody mpv lol.

I don't know what everyones problem is with the Glanza. Sure the original was boxy and rather ugly but the one you posted looks good to me. I especially don't like the one in Mansfield lol You'll know the one!

Haha... Claire's? She's a facking mappet lol.

But yea, they're fugly and as said, look like a Micra. Never been a fan, never will be lol.

I think people just buy them because they can play with a dump valve :S Fair play to those that do like them though, but not my cuppa.

Starlets can be got in 4wd show's you how much you no:clapping:

i'm fully aware that the starlet was made with a pathetic 4wd system that can't handle any form of power worth mentioning.

the ax was made in a 4wd but again is a gay 4wd system that can't handle any form of power.

this may seem like 'pot, kettle, black' scenario but all you have done is come on here and tell us how you side stepped from one shit car to another shit car and you are now trying to justify it! they're crap, and really anybody driving either car gets laughed at really.

that is very true i no cause i have owned both i did love my vts turbo but cant seem to find other one there was one on piston heads for £2500 but its gone

rorz_vts 8th December 2010 10:20

10 psi i personally dont see why you would of sold a vts turbo to go and buy a 1.3 glanza turbo, me personally would rather have a saxo turbo if offered both. I do like the starlet gt and came very close to buying 1 before i got my current vts and personally dont think they look that bad, but out of all the cars if they were all mint and new/ready to go id pick the R5GTT anyday

thats just as much insurance fraud as insuring it as a non turbo.

gt turbo is not a glanza, and is completely different to insure.

im insuring my gt turbo, with mods declared, thats over 300bhp, with cd30, and it costs me just over a grand.

dougieph2 14th December 2010 20:15

glanza for me personally

I may have put starlet then but when engine came up if offered me "import gt turbo" are the glanzas more then??

Shame if true as the glanza is even more fugly than the ugly starlet..

yup, silly as it sounds, glanza's are more, well i dont think specifically they are more, but less companies cover them, so in the long run there are less quotes to get, so costs more.

and for the fella who said the 4wd system cant hold power, there is one in ireland that was taking over 300bhp, and was used mostly on 1/4, so did get put through its paces, and nothing failed with the 4wd setup.
