Watched the incar, and very good.... Steve seems to like the handbrake a lot more than you, but then he prefers gravel to sealed surfaces..... Tarmac is for getting to the forest! :clapping:

Hopefully will get chance to get the footage off the camera tonight, as had a few hectic eves at home... That expensive polish stuff worked a treat on the car, as the dirt just fell of with the pressure washer! Only found 2 stone chips as well.. lol

Managed to sell the wide set of gravel tyres as well on Sat, so they did Down Ampney last week, and are doing Somerset this weekend!

Hopefully ordering a set of Silverstone Rallycross intermediates next week to go on the 6" 5 spokes.. We were not far off your times untill stage 4, and then the tyres started to let us down, but overall, well happy with the times that we were posting but we know that we can go faster, so push on next rally...

Handbrakes were done when they were neccessary, no point otherwise just wastes time!!

No need for excuses on times now :P Your show car cant cut it with the old dog 205 ;) haha!!

Loving them piccies..

KamRacing 24th April 2009 14:55

good drive!!! I like commited!. What were you talking about RWD? bit of lift off oversteer?

Just wondering on your wheel choice. The 15" speedlines are quite heavy compared to the 14" 1.6 wheels. Have you tried the lighter wheel or are you going for maximum width?
I've got 13" PTS 7x13" alloys but these are quite rare, but they are well worth hunting down if you can get them....

Kev

MaRiO89 24th April 2009 14:59

It wasn't even lift off oversteer..It was weird, the back just stepped out and the more you booted, the more it kicked out..Felt RWD as a passenger..lol..

As for the wheels, Mark will have to answer but they are the strongest wheel i think and we have loads that came with the car..
