Update: 26/04/09

Thought may aswell change the broken rear disc and clean under arches etc for next event and check all components for play....

There is still a clunk/click/knock coming from passenger side wheel area on initial pull away and turning steering so thinking CV joint/balljoint....theres no play in any of it so think i will just rally it like it until something breaks....

MaRiO89 27th April 2009 17:20

Other then the front end driveshaft/balljoint knock and the rear stub pin needs changing think were nearly ready!! :)

MJRallying 1st May 2009 21:57

Will be changing rear stub pin tomoz as its bent and trying to sort the knocking from the front then shes ready to go win at the next event in 2 weeks!!

Foggy 2nd May 2009 11:33

MJRallying 11th May 2009 17:54

Update: 11/05/09

We have found what the knocking was, it was play in one of the wishbone bushes so now all is fine as we have fitted a new wishbone!

So car is now ready for TSH Stages next weekend!! Theres 17 cars in the 1600 class so could be hard to get top 3 in class!! We will give it a jolly good go tho!! :)

MJRallying 13th May 2009 20:50

Update: 13/5/09

Decided to go for some polysport polyrace wishbone and front ARB mounting bushes should make her even stiffer and slightly better handling!!

Will fit tomorrow as i cant get old ones out so will use a mates press!!

Other then that all ready for the big weekend!!!

Foggy 15th May 2009 08:04

Best of luck for the weekend, and hope that the rain holds off for ya....... Bring it home in one peice and no arguing with yer dad!

TU-Tuning 15th May 2009 09:45

Good luck lads

Bondie 15th May 2009 10:15

Be safe lads!

Have fun!

MJRallying 19th May 2009 11:23

Update: 19/05/09

Finished TSH Stages without any problems other then a cracked windscreen!!

We were seeded 24th and finished 14th overall and 4th in class, we had a little off which cost us abit of time we went straight on instead of square right lol, it was probs the difference in time between us and 3rd in class!!

Also the stages were very long and fast so the 205 being 160bhp was perhaps a little down in power on the others!! For example my old EK9 civic was there and he finished 3rd overall and 1st in class but he has 200bhp and the MG ZR 2nd in class was 200bhp.

The 205 infront of us was around my power but had an ultra short peugeot sport gearbox so thats his reason for being the slight bit quicker!! Plus as i said we had an off!!

Im happy with the results anyway, will get pics up asap!!

Update: 22/07/09

Car is off to LAD Motorsport very soon to have some more headwork done and a newly developed Peugeot Sport Group A Tarmac Rally camshaft....currently were running the 1.6 engine with 160bhp using a piper 285 duration cam this new cam will be 312 degree duration so around 170bhp with bigger valves and rejetting of carbs....should be good...

Next after that will possibly be looking for a straight cut box...i dont want to spend too much on it as after all will be getting an ex works kit car in a few years...

TU-Tuning 22nd July 2009 18:12
