Im interested in how it drives tbh. Im possibly picking up a GTI soon and need to plan for the future. Turbo supercharge or tb's!

jpsaxo 2nd August 2013 22:52

Video's are uploading as we speak, they are in 4K HD so taking roughly 10hours per 10min video to upload on YouTube with a fast Internet connection lol

It drives exactly like a normal engine Joe, you can put it in 5th from 2,000rpm and it's fine - it drives better than my old engine, unbelievable for a race engine really, but that's the magic of sandy brown I guess :)

Mathias 2nd August 2013 23:02

Can't wait to see them!! The vid of you driving mine too?

hard_corejoeboy 2nd August 2013 23:02

I mean it probably drives nicer than a turbo engine im guessing and also less torque steer and wheelspin? Would you say you are underpowered or overpoweree chassis wise?

AlexB 3rd August 2013 11:10

It drives better than a renault lol :P

hard_corejoeboy 3rd August 2013 11:50

I should think so lol

230ish horse power through the front wheels of an 800kg chassis is plenty in my opinion mate...

See what you think...

BIG 4th August 2013 23:33

Jaw dropping, this car really does fly you certainly pushed it more than when it was first out so impressed with this thing!.

Gabbastard 5th August 2013 01:22

Vids are good, car sounds awesome. Fuck you though, made me go and look in the for sale section for tbs..

That was the only thing i found with cadtle coombe, that theres no elevation change which makes the circuit a bit less involving. Still good though.

unreal106 5th August 2013 06:55

Haha, did you find any??

Really? I thought it had a bit of everything, it is fairly flat and I generally enjoy elevation changes (hence me loving the ring' ooooo eeerrrr) but I think the bump's in the track make it challenging to keep it pointing in the right direction, especially when your pumping plenty of power through the front wheels lol

YES YOU DO TOM! Itb's on the cards now then mate??

Definitely does show what can be done when you stick at it, Sandys done some very interesting analysis from FCS on my video vs a "similar" NA powered lump from a different company, amongst the interesting results was that I did half the amount of gear changes per lap - decent spread of torque anyone??? lol.
