my wethepeople lofi bmx *snapped now a fly 3 amigos and a vid page 7*

im bored and after a thread on hobbies i noticed there were a few bmxers on here

my bike was in peices after a few bits were borrowed by mates whilst i wasnt riding
so i have them all back now and though id give everything a bit of a clean and put it together

i started out with my frame (lofi 20.75) and crank assembled together and the chain (a shadow half link) flapping about lol

few pics of how i spent my morning

now for the wheels (and an explanation of why there are pics of 3 lol)
i have my front wheel which is normal
and 2 back wheels
one is a proper cassette hub (normal wheel)
one is a federal freecoster (which allows you to ride backwards but does have drawbacks if you wanna go forwards lol hence the cassette)

pegs lol (4 of em) soon to be replaced with gsport plegs (xmas prezzie lol)

and the finished product

hopefully summer next year ill be back out on it and doing some silly little manouvers again

i cant ride a bmx for shit, but can do a wee bit of trials on one lmao!

CHIP 15th December 2008 16:04

I used to ride trials, was into it in a big way, but eventually i kinda fizzled out of it. Would like another bike again though. Had a BMX too, but i couldnt get on with it so stuck to trials lol.

AlexB 15th December 2008 16:38

big wheels are ghey in park/street riding though
ive seen mtb park riding (a few guys i know do it) and it looks awkward n sluggish on the ramps
and on the streets you cant double peg rails lol

pretty good for bombing through the woods though lol
