You've Been Mangoed!

Hi guys! Well thought I should start a project thead

I recently bought this westcoast 1.4, so its got the vtr/vts bumpers etc, got it for peanuts and came with tax&Test and runs sweet as a nut.

When I bought it a few days ago it came on three rather gay o.z alloys and a biscuit rim, the 4th had a gash in the sidewall, a cheap shitty air filter that I want off, and a set of LEXUS lights!

Im on the hunt for some vtr or vts wheels to keep it looking OEM
Not really got any more plans for it but i'm sure I will think of plenty of things to do along the way.

So here is the first pic I got of it, now nick named TACKY!

Then I got rid of the lexus lights the next day and got parcel shelf as it was missing. Sorted the mess behind the stereo and changed the headunit and front speakers, and I have a Fli sub to put it when I can be arsed :p

Also got a new tyre for the 4th alloy so its rolling on all for O.Z's

Then it was time for PVS - (Performance Vauxhall Show, for those that didnt know) as I am a big Vaux fan  but give me a chance! :boxing:

So as I was there I took it down the strip to see what she could do

Fastest time was 18.1057@75.93mph, which I didnt think was too bd tbf.

Here is a few pictures from the camp at Pod

and after my car got attacked with the free total vauxhall stickers

And when I got home I found this waiting for me :A:

So will wash the car tomorrow and put it on if the weather is ok.

Thats about it for now..........Slate/Rate

I live in Ashton, but spend a lot of time in Millbrook (Stalybride) and I work in Stalybridge centre as my club is there

Ah fair enough. My flat mate / his mates are from Ashton! As are a few members of my family (don't ask where though as I have no idea lol)

At least you live close to snake pass for some decent B road driving!

UPDATE -

On saturday my clutch went, well the thrust bearing went more than anything, so I got it home and tightened the cable so I could drive it up to my girlfriends mums where they have a big enough drive to let me work on it properly. So yesterday morning I ordered my cluch kit and got it for £21.50 on trade. So was happy with that also orders 2liters of gearbox oil and it arrived for about 12ish and it was all fitted and done by 5 so thought that was quite good going as the box had never been off the car so some things made it a bit of a pain but all in all quite easy.

A few pics, no fitted pics though.

One gearbox off

Ruined bearing

Trashed pressure plate

And a nice new clutch assembly

So it's all sorted and running sweet also had a look at the selector while I was under there as it was a bit sloppy did a quick fix and it's much better

looking good matey!
