Mowing my lawn
I just noticed a thread on grass didn't bother reading it so thought here is as good of a place as anywhere to ask when I should cut my grass for the last time before winter.
Also how do I get the lines in it? |
Buy a rover, perfect lines from it, also picks up the grass, you should cut your grass about 6 times a year, about now is where the last cut should be, as when winter comes.. It won't really grow lol
|
Instead of watering it as well, put Vodka or Whisky on it.

You have to lick it in two different sorta ways.

you must work on a pitch/course or something, lol. either that or a gardener pretty much what he said but i dunno about the six times a year rule. its been pissing of rain here the last few days so i think one dry day and that's when it'll get cut (my bosses estate) |
6 times? bollocks.
I love the smell of freshly cut grass!:A: |
Use a chainsaw to trim the edges
|
I did mowed the law possibly for the last time about 2 weeks ago, just before all the rain. All depends on the weather tbh.

Surprised this hasn't already been said.......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Mz0G...eature=related

Grass gets cut whenever it gets too long. |

I loled, ok sir, obviously you do it for a living with your expertise and can define long grass with your electric plug in mower that can't get over slightly grown grass.

My mower, bought like millions of others, was from a shop that sells mowers, amongst other various household/diy items. I'm sorry it doesn't match the spec of your uber-i'm-a-fucking-gardener-motherfucker ride on, mow down forests v8 400bhp nitrous powered monstermower, but it doesn't. Long grass to me is defined as something that looks untidy. Really long grass is something that looks untidy and is harder to cut (for my weedy Flymo). I'm sorry our definitions differ. You're clearly the man to come to when I have some sort of garden wide horticultural crisis. |
