The Scotland question
Just watched the news and there banging on about Scottish Indipendance again. Are any members North of the wall, wildling, Haggis Munching heed the baaals voting yes?
|
No chance.
The SNP have no idea what will happen if they get independence and are basing out economy off of Oil Revenue. Oil Revenue has been falling on a yearly basis for a while now. Plus Salmond is a fat wank |
I think we should dig along Hadrians wall and cast them all adrift. :homme:

So narrow minded. If you take away the oil revenue Scotland is still paying in more than it receives. Go read some of the real government documentation and accounts on the matter and stop basing your opinions on daily mail propaganda. Also, you do know that for the last 20+ years, the voting of Scotland in the British parliament hasn't had any effect on the voted in government? This basically means, it doesn't matter who we vote for we still get fucked by some English chosen government. If you're really interested, I can provide sources for the above. however, I believe you won't really care. |

I can see where theyre coming from in some ways. All of the decisions about stuff is always made down south to suit them. With being up north it seems as they dont care about us and scotland. Having said that it still isnt a good idea imo theres too much to consider
|
I'm voting yes.
Fuck the lot of ya! |

I think there will be a phenomenal turnout. Which way it will go is anyone's guess atm though

Will IRN-BRU go up in price?

Scotland would most probably need to take out loans to fund itself the first couple of years, which would be a terrifying prospect given that it would have no status as a creditor and would probably receive a very bad credit rating. As such, any loan would be at a hideous rate. This goes for everything theyd take loans out on. And there would be a lot to do if they were going it alone.
Also, with regards to "the oil", any offshore rigs are sited under agreements with the UK, not Scotland: renegotiations would need to take place to work that out, and youre dreaming if England would just say that Scotland could have it. Plus aye, Salmond is a fat wank. |
I'll be voting no
|
voting no is like voting tory.
