Corsa SRI Track Car UPDATE!! P6 12/03/08
 

Well Just been an picked my new track toy up.

Got it very cheap an its in great condition, inside is mint. All seats etc will be forsale soon as i strip it.

Then gunna pull engine out as my mate has blown it up tonight on way home!!

Redtop is goin in!:P

looks quite nice mate, should shift abit when redtop is in:P;)

tbh looks quite nice for a m reg corsa. Ussaly in that colour they have all faded pink.

that looks well smart(not that it matters being a track slag)the corsas are so quick when theyve got redtops in.how much do these cars weigh?redtop on webber 45's mmmmmmmm

No not carbs its old age, gunna see aout bodies but i'm on a budget so may just have a set of cams an thats it.

Also with this been a steel my budget is now bigger!!

Oh forgot wasnt meant to say owt is really a 94 on the m reg you have just bought a ringer lol.

Also it has a later spec interior by the look of it.

Well it had a little bit of a missfire to satrt with but wasnt a prob as knew engine was comin out. Mate gave it some stick on way home an it just cut out an now smokes!!!

Will get pics of wheels once i get them

lol im surprised how much i like it for a corsa tbh colour coded really helps it 1 hub cap ftw.

my mates has a corsa with c20 let (turbo if no one knows), runnin about 230 bhp its immensely fast.

Should have a bit of fun in it with a redtop planted in it craig!

should be another interesting progression thread coming up then Craig :d

Cheers guys. Dont know how you all think i have too much money i paid the sum of just £200 for the car taxed for 3month an tested for 10month!!

Once i sell the engine for spares an the interior should make most of it back!!

As for the engine goin for N/A as its for track suspension is fine for now. I pick my redtop engine up at weekend with a nice set of cav GSI rims!!

UPDATE

Well today been on a road trip to manchester to pick up my new engine an wheels.

So i now have a 2.0L 16v redtop engine complete with loom ecu gearbox everythin i need really!!

Also got come cav GSI rims just need some 195/45/15 tyres as they came with 55's!! So if you have any cheap let me know!!

Stripped the loom of tonight an a few other bit like inlet an throttle bodies for the parts cleaner an for the inlet to be tapped for the NOS jets!! Will e running 150bhp jets!!

Once they are now they will be goin in the parts cleaner.

Needs a service an a new sump gasket but apart from that its sweet.

Got the rocker cover off ready to paint.

Cleaned the wheels also which again will be gettin painted next week some time.

Then the plan is to try to get the lump in next weekend. Then just a case of strippin the inside out.

Will get some pics tomos for ya.:P
