Look into getting it chipped or the rev limiter raised - need to learn more first
De - badge the boot, or maybe just black them
Colour code rocker cover same colour as car
more underbonnet goodies etc

Well there it is, i hope you like it, im open to all sorts of comments so feel free to tell me what you think

personaly i hate them their just rust magnets.lol but its your car. did you do the c2 badges or buy it like that?

mellor 26th November 2007 19:36

yeah thats the only problem with them, i do try and keep them and behind them as clean as possible.

i bought the car with the badges on, never seen one like that before but it looks great!

Also never seen or heard of a saxo with berlingo brakes, is this common? it should be because they stop sooooo f**king well its unreal on such a light car!

Liam_ 26th November 2007 19:38

Saw this one on PistonHeads - really smart, looks like you got a good'un mate :y:

m_cooke999 26th November 2007 20:48

RICKYP-RPM 26th November 2007 22:57

looks good, i've got some of those wheels for sale

S70KES 27th November 2007 08:42

nice car mate looks good... and welcome to sax p

VTR-Chris-VTR 29th November 2007 15:04

Thats one clean and tidy car, paintwork looks brand new :y:

As for the exhaust id get a 3"-3.5" inwardly rolled exhaust, but it all depends what you prefer really

vtrlogan 29th November 2007 15:34

Thats VERY nice, i wanna clean mine now :D

Gavinski 29th November 2007 16:25

welcome

mellor 29th November 2007 17:42

thanks - i was looking at inward rolled but i personally think they look a tad boring... like i say thats my personal opinion but i dont see many around with tailpipes similar to the original (ie a squared oval) or even that many with a rolled out tip - having come from a ford based back ground thats pretty much the stable choice there... so its naturall for me to favour this... i would really appreciated if people could post pics of their exhaust tips to give me some inspiration....

thanks again - matt

VTR-Chris-VTR 29th November 2007 17:48

Well i havent got a pic of my exhaust on the comp put ill try to get one for you, although its a Piper 4" Slash cut, dont no if you will like that though its quite popular on here, well a few of us have it

skillz 29th November 2007 18:40

welcome nice car mate looks clean (those vtr badges are mint) happy sax-p'in

dk_vtr 30th November 2007 00:15

..... i wasnt a fan of red VTR's untill i seen this one! its spot on mate! very tidy... wheels, badges etc work a well together! good find

lenham 30th November 2007 01:56

thats a nice vtr you got there, love the red ones, wheels realy suit the car.

mellor 1st December 2007 12:11

hi everyone, thanks again for all the comments - i must admit i seem to wanna clean it more than drive it but the mods will be coming thick and fast over the next few months - nothing major - no turbos etc but just wanna put my subtle stamp on an already great car!

As for exhausts im a bit fussy - no offence to anyone who's got one as its all down to personal taste of course but im not a fan of slash cuts on non jap cars... just like fords should always have out rolled out tips etc... i dunno but ill do some hunting and see what takes my fancy... a rolled in one would be a good choice to keep it subtle - can anyone reccommend an ashley system? i know a million people ask this but im just after a straight answer as i was gonna just go to powerflow and get them to knock me something together? After decent gains but not too much noise at low revs (like my bloody bass box fiesta!!!)

Thanks again - Matt

MattWilliams 1st December 2007 12:23
