Naths' Posi VTR(Griffiths Quickshift videos - 24.12.07)

Started off as a standard Posi Blue VTR mk 2

First modification was the saxperience stickers in the rear 1/4 windows(you all know what they look like)

Next I purchased a stainless piper backbox, 3" outward rolled

Next was the fox 3 evo black alloys which I bought off RhysVts

I then went into motorworld and bought some stickers with the welsh flag to go next to the saxperience.com(£1.50 well spent)

I ordered some -40mm lowering springs and had them fitted and the torsion bar adjusted to match.

Then used some fine sand paper to get the 'CITROEN' and 'SAXO' badges black

I also then got the paperwork through so I put my private plate back on

It stayed like that until this week

I ordered some omp upper/lower strut braces, had them powder coated in black and fitted

Next was too fit a dimma like grill(after i'd rang all my friends for a torx set!) fits pefect too and in my eyes £30+ saved over the genuine dimma

Next I got a touch up stick in posi blue and painted some side repeaters

Fitted the griffiths quickshift(will get the videos up soon)

Inside the car has standard VTR seats with the coloured lines, Citroen sports gear knob, and sony head unit with ipod link.

Plans

Got 106 gti bonnet struts, need to price up brackets for them.

smoke the rear lights,

Give the engine bay a good clean,

make some stickers for upper strut brace,

De-cat and centre section

Also need to change the aerial to a black beesting type, or chop the current one!

Now crack on with your good and bad feedback!

Looks really nice mate. Think you need some arch liners though. Good to see the stuff you got from me going to good use.

Where did you get your strut braces from?
