Here is the start of my progress thread for my 2001 Maritius Blue VTR.
I bought it last monday with 50,012k on. Completely standard when I got it.
Here is my first car that the VTR replaced;

Willwood 4 Pots with dics, pads and lines.
15" Anthracite Speedline Chrono's with Toyo Proxes.
Pioneer Headunit.
Lots of Audison Wiring.
Hertz Sub.

• Wheels on
• Head unit it
• new wipers, reverse lights, fog light
• Full AutoGlym wash

Wilwoods are going on either tomorrow or Thursday afternoon, interested to see what they are going to be like... oh and cheers.

• Crack in downpipe welded up
• Wilwoods on
• Another polish :)

Rallye Design sent out the wrong bolts/wrong thread so Chris at Manic Motors had to make do of what he had, thankfully he got them on fine and they are pretty good so far.
There was a small crack on the downpipe and just behind the middle box, had them welded till the new mani and system goes on through the summer.
Anyway, few pics;

cheers, the Wilwoods were from the group buy on here a while ago. Got them from Rallye Design for about £470, that was with 20 per cent off.

• New ICE
• Morel Hybrid Ovation Components
• Rainbow iPaul 4 channel amp
• Already had the Pioneer Headunit and Hertz Sub
• Dynamat in doors
• All Audion wiring

Also, forgot to mention, the car came with a Toad alarm with remote central locking.

I'm buying a Toad Alarm Ai606 you know. They are £345 from Toad but found a new one for £110.

Going to see if I can fit mine myself. Not just getting one because you have been asking loads of people they say Toad are the best, especially the Ai606.

Alex you will be silly to ever take your alarm off your car you know.

• Lowered on eibach's
• Fitted carpet mats
• New wheel arch liner and arch body clips
• Replaced standard exhaust as mine was blowing
• Put the more sticker in for the crack

Also changed the oil.
PS excuse the dirt, it will be cleaned when the weather is nice.

thanks for the comments everyone.
next plans are to tidy things up a bit, replacing all the body clips, replacing rusty bolts etc, paint underneath the car and rear callipers.
Dimma grill and new rear brakes are in the post.
Then decide on what exhaust to get to suit what power i go for.

thinking about selling up, iv fallen out of love with the car at the minute :(
i still love the car to look at but dont know if its worth keeping, plus i may be getting a full time job soon so fancy something a bit classier....a mini.

Sell me the chronos if you do sell up!
