My Slamed Silver vtr Progress... THE END!
 

i've bin a memba of sax p a while now and have posted pics of my car b4 but neva actually started a progress thread. so sitting at home board fort i myte aswell start one.

well in December 2006 i past my drivin test and in january 2007 i baught my car. i knew i wanid saxo vtr because my m8 had a 2 tone vtr and i fel in love with it, how ever i did'nt want to copy him so i decided to go for a silver colour coed vtr i saw on autotraider being sold in a garage not far from me. it was the 1st vtr i looked at and only jst passing my test and wanting to have a car straight away i rushed into things and baught it for £3300 ignoring the fact it had done 78,000 miles.

1st mod i did being imature abit chavy and not knowing much bout modding i stuck a sun strip on and num plates with different font. i look back now n don't know what i was thinking lol.

then for my next mod saw a sax on this site with silver rear lights and loved the look so went for it my self. the lights are not very practical so they will be replaced with smoked jewls or standards soon. also i had a stainless backbox fitted.

Afta having my car bout 6months by now i had saved up abit of money to bye sum vts alloys and have them refurbed in gloss back. was looking forward to this. However woke up 1 mornig to find my car had been vandalised BADLY. every panel keyed every window put threw and every tyer slashed. so every penny saved went 2wards my exsess on insurance to get car repaired. the people kinda did me a faver or 2 durin vandalising my car e.g ripped my sunstrip off 4 me and took my chavy num plates with elegal font and kindly d-badged it ha ha.
So when got my car bk a month later from garage it was standard again apart from rear lights being colour coded still.
by this time i had lernt a thing or 2 bout modding a saxo thanx to all sax p members and have decided to go for the subtle look.

As for the INTERIA, jbl sub n amp + pioneer face off + vibe qb69 rear speakers and vibe f50 front speakers and colour coded interia dash n air vents.

still alot more i want to do, 106 interia and still want them vts rims in black or maybe anthracite and smoke my lights all around.

looks nice but get rid of that sun strip !!

also them lights gotta be mega illegal

ha thanx bud not much light dose show threw them rears, so deffo gettin them changed soon nxt thing on my list is smoked lights all round

jst went hallfords baught a gromit n d-wipered. realy inpressed nice easy cheap mod to do.

Nearly as easy as smoking your front lights...

ha not for me i cnt get the glass off ha ha i jst gunna buy some i think

Not yet mate iv got to get a heavy duty batt and replace a the alt plug :s then im getting some smoothing done :D

i wana get sum smoothing dun eventually, realy gota get sum smoked head lights 1st tho and black vts rims dnt think im guna go euro now. maybe 1 day ha. i jst posted a pic in your tatoo thread m8

looks nice! Wouldnt go any lower if I were you, wouldnt want to throw off the geometry of the suspension/wheels!

sprayed dimma grill took 3days to do a propa job of it and it looks prityyyyy prityyyyy prity good. just gota get my lights smoked now n ill be happy with front end ONCE N FOR ALL :fcuk:

lol, where did you get those lights from? i used to have the exact same ones on my car until i realised that you could see no light shining through them in the day light

did em my self, they gotta go tho seriously ha. i got pulled over today for em. so gunna get smoked jewles. i like em tho different not practicall tho at all. :y:

looking good bud but when you smoke the headlights remember to do your fogs to ;)

i've got my smoked head lights now but there at my girl friends parents house back in brum so nxt time i go up im gunna fit them and then get my fogs sorted you still up for doing them if you free when im in brum? :y:

loving your car its ace and i like the fact its colour code its a nice change, plans sounds awesome too dont think it needs to get lowered anymore, bet its great pullin up next to that blonka in the 206 lol

ha yeah he's a mate of mine who lives up stairs in the apartments i live in. he has stuck all the crome things you can imagine on it and always asked me what i think. i haven't got the heart to say it looks terrible. so i just nod and say yeah nice mate ha. :y:

i like ur car buddy im not normaly keen on silver saxos but yours stands out for some reason plans sound sweet as well i think smoked jewls will look sweet ive got them on my black saxo
