Thats one of the mounts its more like an elastic band, getting some power flex ones soon.:y:

Curran 13th October 2008 18:37

need some back to black on the bumpers and trim.

i would spray the front grill matt black as its easy to do and once its done it wont need doing again unlike back to black.

would look much smarter then.

Made a few more small changes to the car in the last month,

New front speakers, jbl components

Got my subs in and running, please note the 6x9s came with the car and are not wired in :y:

Voltmeter to keep an eye on things,

Now to the outside i changed the grill to meshed one,

T-cutted the rear badges and most importantly a bit of sax-p advertising,

Also i bought these off of a member on here for £115 delivered all tyres nearly new. All kerb marks have been filled just waiting for the money to get them sprayed black

Comments :y:

CooperVTR 24th February 2009 12:18

Finally got my alloys back from the bodyshop at the weekend, been waiting for them for a month now but i didn't have to pay for them to be sprayed so, i can't complain. Got them on the car yesterday,

I also painted the callipers whilst i was down there

Next i decided to make a false floor, here are the results,

And just a random

the kit says they are, but i will find out come mot time. Just made a couple of brackets out of some old metal and bolted it to where the old intake and pas resevoir was.

Shortman 24th February 2009 12:44

Ahh right cheers man may try that.

And im not sure on the lights i thought all tint was illegal but may be alright.

CooperVTR 24th February 2009 12:48

it's not a complete tint, it's kind of like a meshing, it says that enough light still gets through to conform with mot testing, i haven't noticed any difference either. But hey ho if it fails will take 5 mins to peel them off.

luke1988 24th February 2009 12:56

nice car mate! loving the black and gold theme :y:
