McBain 27th January 2009 18:12

Any Alpine or Pioneer are good, just pick one that best suits your requirements. Any particular needs? If you stretch a little more you'll get a few more extras if you need them.:y:

infinitym4ge 27th January 2009 18:15

dude just get one of these, rip your cd's and you have a sweet hu :P

im prity sure you would need an Interface to get the blutooth working so your looking at an extra £50++

If your cds are skipping you havent fitted your HU properly.

This is a bit more expensive but it's one hell of a piece of kit for the money IMO:

Read the specs, bargain. And better SQ than Sony.

Thanks for the suggestions but one of my mates has that one i cant be seen as copying him haha, and im sure he got it a lot cheaper than that, and to be honest its nothing special.

Oh and i want a cd player just because its easier when you get friends in who want to put their cd on :)

tuft 27th January 2009 18:47

I have this cd player:

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...rs/DEH-P6000UB

plays cd's, mp3 cd's and its got an AUX in and a USB in. I picked up an 8GB USB and got all my music in my car now :y:

paid £110 delivered off ebay :y:

tomgarrett 27th January 2009 19:12

Its a good head unit, Im well happy with it and would definately recomend it.
Pioneer or Alpine seem to be the best makes :y:

infinitym4ge 27th January 2009 20:18

i personaly have this headunit, i know everyone will say omg sony no way but tbh im happy with it, its got usb, cd player, mp3 input and a remote.

rkid147 27th January 2009 20:24

The sony unit that was mentioned (3600) has the bluetooth built in so no extra module is required. I would personally recommend either Pioneer or Alpine for a headunit mate. I have the Pioneer DEH-P85BT and cant fault it. The features the unit has are endless.

Chewy

fair play I was looking at the deh-p85bt but my bank balance wouldnt allow it. more than happy with the one I got though

tomgarrett 27th January 2009 21:43

just been looking at the Pioneer DEH-P85BT and it looks brilliant, now to find one for the cheap

tomgarrett 27th January 2009 21:45

how much did your Pioneer DEH-P85BT cost?

Mikeyssexysaxo18 27th January 2009 21:46

Go for a Sony or Pioneer mate, the EQ's and presets on the Sony Xplod's are amazing!
and Pioneer pretty much own everything when it comes to Audio, your always safe with Pioneer trust me :y:

tomgarrett 27th January 2009 21:51

what other good pioneer ones are there, id quite like one with bluetooth and a sub out so might be able to go over the £100

Mikeyssexysaxo18 27th January 2009 21:54

http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products.../overview.html

give that a look mate, then google the model your insterested in to get a rough idea of the price

tomgarrett 27th January 2009 22:15

http://www.online-caraudio.co.uk/sho...bt-536706.html

does this look like a good one to buy or could i get something better for that money??

Elliott 27th January 2009 23:06

Pioneer are good but theres always better...kenwood are very good aswell mate.

How about these...

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/7976.html

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/7993.html

good headunits around your budget imo.

Kenco 27th January 2009 23:55

stick to pioneer or alpine tbh
pioneer is slightly cheaper, but i suppose alpine has that few more functions and stuff

Kenco 27th January 2009 23:57

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/7966.html

i have this one, and it has everything i need, and if you were to get an iPod, you connect it up to the back of the unit, and you get all your artists etc. up on the screen of the headunit, which comes in handy

Stefan 28th January 2009 01:51

ebay mate ave a good look :Y:

Jorge- 28th January 2009 09:41

I dislike Pioneer personally, my sister had one put in her car from BassJunkies, was around 90quid and its shocking... The quality is jsut really bad, and no its not the speakers either, cant go wrong with Alpine IMO.

infinitym4ge 28th January 2009 12:37

I cant understand why no one likes sony? the newer modles have plenty setting's usb mp3 remote's and they have high outputs :S

what is it about sony?

tomgarrett 28th January 2009 13:54

i went for the PIONEER DEH-600BT as its looks nice and has the bluetooth functions which is useful as i have lots of music on my phone so i can stream it, and the best thing is i got it for £100 of ebay...brand new :)

tuft 28th January 2009 19:40

good choice mate :y:
know you wont be dissapointed

tomgarrett 28th January 2009 19:42

i know thanks, i thought id spend my money on a well known relaiable brand , should be here tomorrow :D
