hey my name is alex :y: lol erm just turnd 17 got this saxo bout for me i love it loads, just would like a bit of help and some ideas what to do with it mods? just thort id share with use what iv got.

never done one ov these theads before so if you see out rong give me a hand with them to cheers.


well it a white furio 1.4i 2001 (51) pritty food first car like, bout it for £2800 from Nissan garage mum bought me it woooo!!!!

Yeah needs lowering and that hideous sticker removed

White colour coded will look sexy ;)

Wow your mum has style.

Lose the chrome wipers and number plate surround!

Lower it. Keep it simple if its your first car

Mum bought you it for that price jesus, lucky guy

Things id do is get rid of the tacky bits such as, wipers, fuel cap cover, kenwood sticker (nice advertising for thieves) and number plate surrounds

First thing should be lowering tbh :y:

cheers keep them coming agreed with the sticker and crome parts tho. i like the petrol cap abit getting a headunit in soon ill put a pic up of it in a min nt fitted yet tho still in box go some pic of insdie aswell somwere i think ill get them up

Black or white wheels on white saxos look good too ;) chrome bits off lower it and some better wheels in blaco or white and your onto a winner

as rich (skorpion) said though its your first car i wouldnt go overboard on it

my headunit dv720 getting it fitted soon when i get some spare time

Dont rate them units at all tbh, not face off too, hope you have an alarm on the car??

Looks better now its slightly dechavved. I'd do this to it tbh

- Lowered 50mm
- White mirror caps
- VTR/S wheels
- Smoked headlights, smoked angels
- Smoked fogs

That would be a good start

sounds like a good plan will do wwhen iv payed ma insurece lol n i have bit more money....lol

slam it, lose the furio badges and the chrome fuel cap

booked ma theory in 3 weeks need to pass coz im ready for my test carnt wait to drive on my own. Are them flat wiper blades any good recomend getting them ?

cheers mate ganna pay the insurece n see how much i have left i want a new back box first sportex one. Then lowering it will look nice once all that has been done.

Should lower it first would look better before backbox :y: your choice though
Few things i would recommend :y: :
- Lowered 40/50mm All around
- Tints
- White or carbin mirror caps
- VTR wheels
- Smoked headlights, smoked/tinted rears
- Smoked fogs
- Rid of the furio badges
- Dewiper

i want some mirror caps but carnt find any. were do u recomend ? been down to the scrap yard n carnt fiond any .

ok finaly after a few months of having my car i have decide what i want to do to it.

first of all all the crome has come off apart from the arial.

- fornt dimma grill sprayed white with black meshing
- new alloys dont know what ones yet
- white mirror caps
- new back box sportx 3"
- T-cut back badges
- debadge the furio badges
- flat whiper blades
- smoked side repeters

if i get some time in the year with some money i would like to lower it.

anyway let me know what you think ? HELP!!!!!!!!

Hey,

Most of your plans sound good. However, I would:

Get VTR or VTS alloys, rather than aftermarket ones
Prioritise, alloys then lowering then worry about the rest after, all small things can be done first though as they don't cost anything such as rear badges and furio signs.

Smoke the front lights, smoke the rears, if you aren't going to colour code then get white VTR/S wheels. If you are then get them in Anthracite/Black..

Good to hear your plans are sensible though :y:

would love some black VTS alloys. but when i have abit more money lol

You could do, it's up to you..

I was going to colour code and mesh mine but then decided I didn't really like mesh..

So ended up keeping my standard grill but getting it sprayed gloss black..

You could always do the same but have the chevrons painted white?

May look quite good :y:

got an awsome idea keep it as it is spray the border white slats black and kepp the chevrons silver save alot of time and hasle

what you think ?

also does the black badges at the back look good or does it make the car look older ?
