Wicked Red VTR Rotary Correction Detail 56K no way
 
Hi Guys i corrected my mums car this week, as it was looking a bit i must say, yes shes got a saxo;) loves it to, the aim was to get it as shiny as possible for her, no wash pictures i wanted to get straight to it, it was already clean anyway, anyways heres the process

rinse
foamed the bilt hamber autofoam left for 5 to 10 muntes
rinsed
washed with two bucket method and optimum shampoo
rinsed
de tarred with autosmart tardis for tar and a cloth
rinsed
clayed with gloss it mild clay and megs last touch
washed again
rinsed
dryed with a waffle weave towel
taped up

polished with a meguiars polishing pad on rotary with Menzerna intensive polish 3.02 and refined with final finishing Menzerna P106FA ona meguiars polishing pad

buffed off with poorboys towels
applyed a base coat of Jeffs Acrylic Prime left to dry then buffed off
2 to 3 coats of Jeffs Acylic Jett Trigger left half an hour between second coat buffed off with poorboys towels

3 coats of Acylic Gloss and buffed off with poorboys towels

tyres and trims dressed with megs endurance gel

glass cleaned with Jeffs acylic prime buffed off and then applyed rain x and buffed off.

headlights and tail lights polished with rotary and Menzerna P106FA on a polishing pad

Looking clean as fook. Wish mine was as good as that. Looking at getting machine polisher soon but got a vts engine to get fitted and looking at getting carbon bonnet before then too.

That looks ace buddy! Really nice and clean! Good correction of the swirls too.. how many passes did you have to go over to get all the swirls out?

Wicked red cleans up soooo well.. makes me miss my old beastie.. spent many hours detailing it.. :p

yeah it's lowered 40mm loves it to, prefers a lowered car cause it handles better

Thanks Alex:) spread it at speed 1 600rpm to start with then speed 2.5 1200rpm then up to speed 3 1500rpm then up to speed4 2000rpm then back down to 1200rpm then 900rpm to refine took five minutes on each section, can't remember the passes but thats the method i use, the idea is to get the car as nice as your old car was:P;)

I agree...

Wicked red cleans up really well...almost looks kind of candy once its polished!

Spent hours cleaning mine to yesterday!

So good work fella u done a good job...wonder how long it will stay like that though lol
