my first car and i was very wise and bought a saxo!! :y:

here she is as i bought her for a grand total of £400!! bloody bargain :y:



so far i have put snake eye lights on the back, no im not a chav and im looking to get some smoked ones soon!! :P







sorted out a nice I.C.E system with an ipod connection to play the tunes and wired it up so that my ipod is in the glove box :cool: pics too come! :y:

i've just bought a Bee-Sting off aftermarketsounds.com on ebay and will get a pic of that up soon! :y:

Cars a nice colour. Most people dislike lexus lights but I think they are ok, I had them on mine for ages but got jewels now! Should smoke them though, smoked/black lights go well with red.

looks like a clean car for 400 notes. not sure on the lexus lights but aslong as you like them...
maybe give it a little drop with maybe vtr/s wheels.

my big problem is that its a 3 stud wheel so alloys are reel hard to come by bin looking on ebay flat out but nothing within a reasonable distance for collection is ever there

im looking for a set of alloys (3 stud) and thinking of changing the interior light bulb the number plate lights the small light in the boot to red (not shore on legality of no plate light coz i now for a fact that its part of an M.O.T that the lights are there but not shore if it matters what colour they are) and possibly wiring up some red led's in the glove box. that's my next little project anyway i think.

I had lexus tailights on mine but as many people do, changed them for smoked jewels...but if you smoked them would look alot better dood ;)

the girl i bought it off didnt look like she could change a bulb let alone take the thermostat off so i doubt its bean clocked :P haha and the reason its only done like 5k since i have it is cos ive only passed my test 2 months ago!! lol

na i don't now who the guy is ive seen him about tho, never noticed the saxp stickers though!

right my next bit of progress!!

first things first i took a pik of my radio to show all you guys!! you can see the wire that goes to my ipod in the glove box :y:

i then instaled new a red interiour light



and put another in thew boot!



and then did the side lights!!








it was such a nice day today i decided to give my sax a dam good clean!! didn't take any before piks but it turned out so good i thought id show it off!!

to start i used some flash with warm water to get any shit off the paint work!!

then i washed it off with a hose and sponge

then i got the wax and polish out!!

and finally did the windows using windowleen and newspaper!! (awesome tip off here!!)

hears how it turned out!! remember i only paid £400 4 this lil sax







i was so impressed with the windows i took a photo!!



and it only took me 2 hours to do this!! and valet the inside!! :y::y:

thinking of t-cuting the badges next!

ive now moved the ipod wire into one of the blank buttons just above the radio looks a lot tidier!! i moved the hazards and rear window heater over one place each so the wire runs directly above!!

id remove the sidelights before your pulled over plus they wont pass an mot

i wasn't shore bout that tbh

not shore if i even like them!!

mite put em in the number plate lights instead

yeah the red sidelights will get you pulled, can't have any red lighting that is forward facing, or seen from the front.. :( oh and its a tastey £30 FPN :(

now improved that because i didnt like that it wasnt flush!! opinions please?!

after this i moved the sidelights as suggested into the number plate!

looks allot better in person as its hard to photograph because of flash ext!






after this i realized how faded the side strips looked so i had a rummage inn the cupboard to see what i had to spruce them up a bit!!

decided to use some shoe polish in the end!
